On June 21st, 2022, I paid $16,375.71 to ***** **** LLC (DB) for the purchase of kitchen cabinets. DB proceeded to illegally convert this money for his personal needs and engage in long-term deception for nearly five months. In early September 2022, I began asking DB more pointedly about the cabinets. DB either always lied that he had them in his shop or he simply ignored any cabinet-related questions. On Oct 19th, 2022, DB verbally told me that he would not finish the job under the current signed contract and wanted to renegotiate more favorable payment terms. This was a bad faith attempt to renegotiate a signed contract. Despite DBs illegal demand to renegotiate our signed contract, I attempted contract renegotiation but only if DB proved that he had the cabinets, which it later turned out that he didnt have and had not even ordered yet.By Oct 24th, 2022, DB said hes working on another job and not ours. Meanwhile, continuous deception about the kitchen cabinets. By this point, DB had not been on site for weeks and had effectively abandoned the job, leaving a tremendous amount of work to be completed.On Oct 28th, 2022, I, via an attorney, sent a 93A Demand Letter to DB citing multiple violations of ************* law, including misrepresentation of money usage, failure to disclose financial instability, and excessive delays, and threatening to abandon the Project if our signed Contract was not renegotiated. On Nov 15th, 2022, I received certified mail of a Notice of Intent to Lien from subcontractor ************************* because DB never paid their fees of $13,662. However, I paid DB a $33,600 milestone when this work was completed in September, as required by the Contract. DB has also not paid ******************************* for dumpster usage fees of $5,800, and the dumpster remains in our driveway to this day.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.
**** Davis is well known for ignoring problems and hoping they go away, so I would never expect a response from him. That's how his previous lawsuits went, too.
