In the past three weeks, Ive received 42 phone calls and three texts from this company trying to provide insurance quotes to someone Ive never heard of. I cant block them because every call comes from a different Ohio number. On 9/18, I received 17 calls in a nine-hour period. Ive asked to be removed from their list six times so far. No sane person would ever think this is sound business practice.Business response

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.While it appears I was erroneously added to their list twice by a consumer that must not know her own phone number, it is still a questionable business model to call someone 17 times in one day and more than 50 times in a month, especially when I did answer multiple of those calls and ask to be added to the Do Not Call list.
I genuinely hope this brings an end to this barrage of calls, and I appreciate the company responding.

I am receiving daily solicitation emails from this company, trying to sell me auto insurance. The emails appear to be sent by different companies--Provide Insurance, Coverage Chaser--but they all appear to connect back to this company. I have called the company to ask to be removed from their email solicitation list. It's impossible to speak to a person. These emails come from suspicious email addresses (for example: *********************************************** I have tried to block these emails, but the email addresses are different each day. I did not sign up for these emails and do not want to receive them!Business response

This outfit, EverQuote, judging from the torrent of complains about them, is apparently a fraudulent company that scrapes personal data from unauthorized sources in order to harass people with a flood of spam.I have begun to receive multiple texts and phone messages from them and others about auto insurance. I have never communicated or otherwise engaged with EverQuote and of course never will.They need to (i) completely remove my info from their system and (ii) cause every other entity to whom they have provided (sold) my info to do the same. And provide written assurances that they have done so.Customer response

Company has been harassing with calls non stop and texts when I have on several occasions asked NOT to be called and to be taken out of any spam list. That is poor business practice on their part and am glad I decided to not do business with them. Horrible experience!Business response

The most obnoxious company who blows my phone up 20 times a day when I dont even know how they got my number as I did not sign up for their services. I block one number and they call with a different one 5 mins later. STOP IT !!Business response

They provided my information to multiple insurance companies without my consent. At no time did they state they would do this. It just said it would find the lowest rates in my area. Nothing like "We'll provide your information to everyone and their mother so a bunch of insurance companies can call/text you non-stop for days and each one of them is going to ask you if you'd want a quote and you'll have to work with them to make a determination as to who would be the cheapest."They said "We'll tell you who is the cheapest in your area." And the best part? Most are from **************, because that's where the area code for my phone number is from. I live in *****, and no I don't want to start getting calls from people in *****. I never would have even tried their service had they been forthcoming with what they would do. I just want to be left alone!
