  I bought a GE refrigerator on 10/13/21 and a 5 year service contract on the same date. The refrigerator was $2718.00 the service contract was $350.00. The fridge broke down on April 21,2024. I have been back and forth with Dracut Appliance and GE arguing about who needs to fix the problem which they say is the compressor. The service contract provider finally took over which didn't help matters. Now the service contract provider has ordered parts and they have come in and I am trying to schedule service to come out and fix it. They tell me not until next Wednesday which make it going on the third week of being without a refrigerator. I'm seventy three years old and I recently had a stroke and I can't deal with this problem anymore. I'm also trying to get food reimbursement which I still haven't received the form. I need help! Thank you

  We wanted to do our part and go local when trying to get our washer fixed. We brought in Dracut Appliance and ******* dollars later we're told that they fixed our problem (after the tech took about 5 minutes to look at it, if not less). Start up my first load of laundry maybe 30 minutes after he left and there's zero difference. He didn't fix the issue.Takes a few more days to get them to come back and when they do they send two techs who now spend about 30 minutes looking at the washer. No we're looking at about 700 dollars in extra repairs that these guys find. We say ok, no big deal we'll just buy a new washer but what about those first repairs which did nothing. Well I guess Dracut Applicance doesn't own there mistakes and instead of offering us the money back on the parts they only offer 50 dollars which doesn't cover sales tax.I wouldn't be so upset if they just didn't accept there mistake and offer us our parts price back for a new washer. Instead they're pretty much saying "Hey, we're incompetent and didn't do a full check first and if we had we know you wouldn't have done the repair. But you're still left holding the bad because of our bogus repair. Please take 50 dollars and buy a washer from us so we can s**** you over again".
