      HE KILLED MY LAWN! After applying whatever it was he applied, my lawn started dying. Called him several times, came out to see it and we kept getting the same response, " yah, same problem with other customers. This is a very dry and hot summer. You need to keep watering." Which we were doing and kept doing to no avail. After all our complaining and no offer of resolution from his company, we have hired another landscaper. He has come in, scraped all the dead grass from our FRONT LAWN ONLY and has reseeded to the tune of $1300. Now, remember, we do have a back yard also that is a loss cause and hoping to remedy it this spring. He had opportunities to try to remedy but only got excuses! We had no problems with his lawn cutting employees and found them to be most polite and always on time.

      Mr ********* response to your review, I would like to explain that after each particular visit/fertilizer application on 4/16/24, 6/5/24, 7/24/24 and 8/21/24 our employee noted on each visit that your lawn was severely dry and there wasn't any sign or watering being done by the homeowner nor an automatic irrigation system on site. Our employee also noted that on 7/24/24 and 8/21/24 the homeowner came outside to address the lawn issues of why is his grass so dry and dead? Our employee noted that he informed the homeowner on daily watering and even multiple watering may be needed on the days we were having heat waves so frequently this past summer. In addition to the fertilizer visits, our mowing crew leader also noted on our daily work sheets that upon bi-weekly mowing visits the grass is very very dry and not being watered whatsoever. As you may recall, as the owner I did personally stop by your residence on 8/21/24 and explained to you what my employees have noted and after personally walking around your yard (front and back) while you stood on your front porch, there was no sign of watering, hoses or manual sprinklers whatsoever. I did mention to you that I recommend aerating and overseeding the yard once the cooler temperatures arrive in the fall but stressed to you that daily watering was the main ingredient for any lawn repair to succeed if your going to move forward with any repairs. You told me that you weren't sure if/when this could be done as you were concerned about the traffic and the Big E as your residence is closely nearby. On 8/29/24 our mowing crew arrived at your residence for your bi-weekly service, and our crew leader noted on that visit you had complained to him about the condition of your lawn and cancelled services that day. As of today, 11/18/24 almost three months later, we have been notified of this negative review via email and no other communication with you in regards to addressing your lawn issues. Unfortunately this past summer of 2024 was very hot/dry, but with a routine watering schedule lawns can and will strive in addition to a basic lawn care program in which we provided.       Your response doesn't reflect that I stated that there was watering being done on a regular basis, especially in the front. I have to disagree with your workers since they were here at 7 in the morning when there was dew on the grass. Besides, we pointed out to you that because when spraying you killed parts of my neighbor's grass. And she is not happy about that either. All other neighbors who don't water had better grass than I did. Before I hired you, we had another service treating our lawn and they never killed it. We went with you because we thought it best to keep the lawn service with one company for which we are sorry.

      Rips off elders !Sometimes he Just shows up w/o calling ahead - despite customer request to do so b4 hand - He applies whatever and charges $150 - $200 per app for less than 1/2 acre and tells ya organic is higher priced .. well guess what - he fooled me bad after several years - Other reputable business s charge less than half that- for same or better products - and much more accommodating and responsive - call me to discuss - I have $ receipts !Beware of this guy !

In response, but to also clarify your inaccuracies in your review, I made the very difficult decision to stop providing services at your residence after numerous years (since 2015) due to your unprofessional profanities and name calling of my employees. I would also like to mention your payment history of waiting 60+ days on your residential account is not what any small business needs in this time and economy.       This reply is nonresponsive to your unfair billing practices to seniors - Buyers beware !You totally mischaracterized my demeanor to your employees - they work hard for you - we offered them refreshments and reviewed over our work projects in motion so as they can avoid re-hitting painted fence areas, - but never swearing - they tried their best - it is you who, the owner who falls short in customer satisfaction.We immediately found professionals to service our lawn care services at fair prices who promptly return customer phone calls - such a relief !
