My wife and I purchased a 2013 ***** suburban LTZ through direct automecca in **********, **. The purchase process involved a 2 week delay in ** getting the vehicle in which they drove it to us rather than shipping like they said they would. Upon delivery of the vehicle they were supposed to drop off all paperwork pertaining the the purchase of the vehicle as well as our warranty information that we purchased. We tried to use the warranty to repair both an AC leak and an exhaust leak within the first year of ownership and realized we only had the name of the company in which the warranty should have filed with. Upon calling the warranty company, they stated they had no warranty for our vin and it was likely that the dealership failed to file the paperwork. Upon reaching out to direct automecca, I was run in circles on my first call and ultimately had to hang up after 45 minutes. My second call, they said they had nothing mentioning the first and we had to start over. They said they would reach back out and never did. *** attempted contact 2 more times and I have gotten nowhere and they have failed to provide any information or make any follow up. The only documentation i have is the break down of our purchase which clearly states that we purchased both an extended warranty and GAP coverage through them. This has been ongoing since June of 2022 when i first called. My wife was forced to drive a BLACK suv with no AC all summer with my newborn daughter because of this and the exhaust leak is affecting the performance of the vehicle. We are seeking reimbursement for the warranty since it has yet to be filed roughly a year and a half after purchase and multiple phone calls. We also wish for direct automecca to cover the cost of repairs considering the time and inconvenience of the situation. Documentation will be provided upon request. Paperwork is at home. I am filing this claim at work.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.
