We hired Gentle Movers to move my husbands possessions into their storage facility in October 2020. Due to Covid, he was giving up his apartment in ****** but kept his goods in the Boston area bc he thought he might need to move back in the future. He is now permanently working from home and we want to pick up our goods. After initially hearing back from Gentle Movers but being unable to secure a date to pick up our goods, they are now disregarding our text messages and calls. We have paid over $9000 in moving and storage fees not to mention they have our property. We need them to respond to us and give us a date where we can get our goods. They are not in a storage room but on pallets that need to be unloaded.Initial Complaint

The Gentle moving company moved my possessions from ********* to their warehouse on June 3rd and broke an item without replacing or reimbursing. For the second move, we agreed on a July 1st move date to my new location in ******. they required a deposit for the appointment and cancelled the appointment without notice. they had my card on file from the first move and never took the money. they called me on June 30th @ 12:45 pm to tell me that i never paid my deposit and no longer have the date agreed upon. they offered a new date of July 6th and since this conflicts with my job, I was unable to make it work. I then requested to have another company move my possessions from their warehouse to my new residence and they have been uncooperative and refused to provide a time frame for me to schedule my new movers. my possessions are being held hostage.
