      Wind River environmental evoid this supposedly Not ???? do not use it, they only are interesting for money but not interested in proving a good service, they replace my septic pump 4 times, the first pump was installed for a different company in 2013 they make a replace the whole system including alarm and pump required for Lee county, after that the hurricane 2017 not power so the pump damage I call this guy's , in hurricane 2022 they replace again and asked to replace the filter tank cover now 2024 the alarm did not sound,I see water overflow on my front yard so call them and replace the pump again on each time they charge me $1500 , I was not in the house when they came, that's why I have never been seen and washed How they work but the last couple times I was in my house and washed, they cut the wire and use the wire nuts to connect the new pump to old wire and live in the tank, strip wire in the water tank?, not safe training of all, he mad at me because I asked for screws for the tank cover he was leaving without screws, he draw the shovel said ***** ****** while walk to his truck, I asked why the alarm is not sound when the tank is overflowing he said missed the flow switch, who's missed it?.

      Junior did a great job for us today. He told us everything he was doing and was quick and efficient. Only paid for his time since our pump was still working.

      Our sewer line was completely clogged, flooding our basement. We were unable to use water for days. We were told by a plumber that our line was full of roots and needed to be torn out and replaced at a cost of almost 10 grand. We have a special needs son and we were desperate for help. We were about to pay it when my wife passed by a Wind River van on the highway. We contacted them and they were here in less than a day. Our service rep *** was awesome! Very professional and reassuring. He explained to my wife and I every step of the way what he was doing and how long it would take. He had specialized equipment with him and was able to locate a long buried trap in our yard, completely blocked. He cleared it out and restored our service. I lived in that house for 10 years and didnt even know it was there! *** went above and beyond diagnosing and fixing my very old and complicated system and saved us thousands! I cant recommend Wind River enough, if I could give more stars I would. If you are on the fence, dont hesitate to call them.

      I had a local septic company that provided excellent customer ********************** and rates UNTIL, Wind River bought them out. I should have switched to a smaller, local company immediately but hindsight is 20/20. I called Wind River recently because I had a septic smell in my house. I was asked if my toilets were flushing and if drains were draining, I told them they were. I was told by the customer ********************** rep that I would need a ****** which would check and clean out the lines and that would be $655. Ouch but Ok fine, it seems comprehensive and I need this smell to go away. Well, the technician came and flushed the toilets and that determined I dont need a ******. If thats what determines we dont need a ****** then Im not sure why I was told I needed one. We do have an ejection pump in the basement and he thought maybe it was the gasket needing to be replaced but thats not something he does. He did put some silicone around it and a small amount of Odor Ban down. He was at my home for 30 minutes. I inquired about the price and he called his manager and then told me it was still $655, thats standard to have him come out no matter what was done. I was not going to fight with the technician because he doesnt do the pricing and they have my credit card on file anyway. I did email the manager immediately after explaining I had agreed to the price of $655 because I thought I was having a comprehensive check and cleaning of my septic system. My septic system was never looked at. He replied to my email with a condescending email telling me I was told the price by his customer ********************** rep and that they cant diagnose the problem over the phone. They have a drop down menu that they plug symptoms into and pick a solution. He said this system was sometimes problematic but yields a high success rate. Clearly this time it was problematic but apparently that does not matter. So, basically I paid $655 for silicone, odor ban and 30 minutes which didnt solve my problem.

      We purchased our house in ************ in 2019 and the prior owner had been using Franc Environmental for septic services. Wind River acquired Franc and we have found the service awful. In July 2024 the Wind River service technician did not properly set up the pumping equipment used to drain our grey water tank/grease trap resulting in grease spraying all over our driveway. The technician did not alert us to this issue instead without permission used our hose and sprayed the grease all over our brand new driveway. Wind River contracted a power washing company to try to remove the grease but that attempt made our driveway even worse. I was given a quote from the driveway contractor who refinished our driveway to reseal it. *********************************** a sales manager from Wind River told me after some back and forth that Wind River would waive the service charge for the septic pumping as well as cover the cost of having the driveway resealed. On 31 July my credit card was charged the full cost of the septic service. I was mailed a check just to cover the cost to have the driveway resealed. When I emailed ******* 31 July his response is that he did not agree to waive the pumping fee and cover the cost of the resealing. We never had any issues when Franc Environmental provided septic services. Ever since Wind River acquired Franc, not only has the cost to pump our tanks increased significantly, but the quality of the work is terrible.

      They utilize dishonest business practices by quoting one price and charging another and then refuse to call you back and discuss it. Highly do not recommend. Zero star review.

      They broke the grease trap for my restaurant, and have been doing everything to get out of fixing it, including bullying and harrassment by their employees. ************************* is the rep, and they didn't even have the name of the tech that showed up hours late, was taking selfies of his private parts while supposedly working, and messing around on his phone. Trap sould have taken about a minute to clean, but he was standing there for more than 30 minutes. Took pieces out, said he was replacing them, and I still even have pieces on the floor. Also left his tools behind. I had to late open because he spilled so much on the floor that my place stank for the rest of the day.

      Horrible company and rude customer ********************** branch manager, ******. Our septic had become non functional and we decided to connect to City Sewer. We called to pump out septic one last time. The technician came and said if they pump the septic now and if it rain, the septic will fill with mud again because the Septick didn't had the lid, I said that is fine because we were connecting to city sewer anyways and septic was going to be demolish. They did NOT DO anything and still charged me $208 for telling me the septic system needs replacement. When I called, they said, it is their standard service call charge. They did not mentioned it initially during the initial call and it is NO where mentioned on their website. Their rude branch manager, ****** said "oh well, we don't have it mentioned anywhere but we still charge it. And if the balance is not paid, they will send it to collection". After reading so many negative reviews here, it seems they purposely do not mention service charge. Shame on you for bad business practice. For such a big company, under the leadership of ************** and ******************, they should be upfront with their pricing model.

      In 2020, Wind River checked our tank and found the water level was down to 1 above the floor. They then charged us $2,465 to hydraulically clean our septic tank and repair a crack. Upon subsequent inspection a few weeks later, when the tank should have been full, Wind River said the repair was unsuccessful and we needed a new tank. When I called to schedule a replacement, they did not follow up, which turned out to be good luck for us. We went with a leaking tank until this year, when we contracted with a much smaller, local company. The first thing they checked was whether a hole in the side wall, 1 above the floor, was plugged with a cork. Missing corks are a known issue. When the tanks are cast and sit outside to cure, they put a ~1 hole in for rainwater to drain out. The installer is supposed to put a cork in the hole after it is put in place. That was exactly what the problem was: water was pouring out of the 1 hole. Careful inspection found no evidence of a crack that could explain the leak, or any repair of a crack. The only previous repair was around the outlet pipe, unrelated to the cause of the leak. Wind River didnt bring up the cork issue, didnt see a hole with a missing cork, and said they repaired a crack in the tank, where subsequent inspection found no such repair. Wind Rivers reports on their customer portal did not describe the details of the crack and the repair, such as the actual location, length, and width of the crack before repair. The photos they provide do not show the crack or the repair. Instead, there are photos of the grass over our ***** field, our driveway, the sign in front of our town hall, the ground over the access port before digging, the technicians boot on the floor of his truck, and many entirely black screens.What a contrast between Wind River, a dishonest, unprofessional large company, and an honest, knowledgeable local septic company that finally fixed our problem.

      I called ************ to schedule plumbing repairs and was told it was between 75 & 80 dollars to evaluate the problem. I explained needed repair to my kitchen disposal, bathroom sink drain and toilet that I turned the water off because the water would not stop running. I was not told of any additional charges.The ******* arrived at my home yesterday and was able to get the disposal working, fixed the toilet and repaired the sink drain. He then wrote up the bill and told me the company charges $250 an hour for labor and an additional $50 for fuel charges. I was not told of either of these by the clerk who scheduled the appointment or the repairman until after he finished the work! I should have been told of these charges when the appointment was scheduled. This is a ripoff and I am very upset. I live in Northwest St John's County not a long distance away.
