      I would give them zero stars if possible. We had panels installed less than 9 years ago. My wife noted output was dropping in August and they were notified. They came by in November and disconnected the system without informing us as to the reason. Several months later and after repeated questions they finally told us that we had critter damage and would need extensive repairs. Months after that they finally provide us with a quote without a timeline for repairs. On top of that they do not provide us with any protection from the same critter damage occurring again.

      Like the complaints below, Solarflair tried to start charging me $250 just to have someone come out and diagnose problems with my system (2022). All of my previous service they came out and fixed the various component failures under warranty with no charge. The head installer was very rude and refused to even discuss the problem with me over e-mail or phone until we paid $250 and had somebody come out. I ended up diagnosing the problem, ordering the parts and replacing it myself. I have never experienced such poor customer support from a company, especially on such a big ticket item.

      Through these times of labor constraints, material restrictions, and rising operational costs, SolarFlair tries to be fair in treating our thousands of customers. This particular client is an engineer who took it upon themselves to diagnose the problem before contacting SolarFlair. Upon contacting us, he informed us of his thoughts. We immediately asked that he do not attempt any further electrical work, and that we do charge a fee to come out for such a thing. Not included in the customer's review are the fact that the owner of SolarFlair agreed to come out, and did so free of charge to look at the piece of electrical equipment in question. The customer had thought that there was installer error from the beginning leading the cause of the fault. This was not the case. The cause was a 10 year old piece of electrical equipment that had failed and needed replacement. SolarFlair stated that we would order a new one and replace it for a small fee. The client informed the us that he had taken the liberty of ordering one already. (?) SolarFlair stated that we would install the equipment if the client wanted and quoted a small fee to do so. The client then said they would shop around to get a cheaper price for the installation. This apparently was not the case as we received an email asking us to come out and do the work. Unfortunately, before we had a chance to respond, this review was posted.
