On January 26, 2022 my GE washer/dryer was scheduled for delivery. I was called by the driver and met them accordingly at my building. The other staff was very argumentative and unprofessional. He slammed both washer and dryer down on hydraulic lift, even when driver said easy, he told him do your job and let me do mine. Instead of bringing both units up one at a time which would have been more manageable and less risk, he insisted on stacking them, he nearly lost control of them in the elevator and he got smart with him again. (My HOA pulled footage from their cameras) confirming the slamming down of both products on hydraulic lift. When they entered my home they ran the appliances into the doorknob? Knocking it loose. Then when they set the products down they were forced against the wall. When this happened I heard a metal clang and I shouted EASY to the one with the bad attitude as hed slammed the appliances against the access panel to my furnace. To which he said, oh, I thought it was the wall. I asked the driver what his name was as his attitude was awful, he then told me it was only his 2-3rd day on the job, then when I pointed out that my doorknob was hit and the access panel was dented all he could do is waive his hands and say its ok all of the sudden he couldnt speak properly, until I refused to sign for delivery, then his words were perfectly articulated. The electronic signature reads UD (under duress) and I refused to sign the paper invoice. Come to find out from the company that contracted them, they are Father and Son and he has had his son in his employ for quite some time. This owner lied to me, to the company who contracts him and who knows how many others. They lied and denied my claim. Attorney retained and I will see him in court unless he pays for damages. I am also taking company he is contracted to court for their part in this be not corresponding as promised.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. They denied my claim however never provided any communication. I had to solicit it through Sedgwick. No one bothered to supply ANY correspondence whatsoever.
