On September 21, 2022, I brought a 14gram solid 14k gold rope chain to A & A Jewelers to be repaired. When I went to pick up my repaired chain, I was given a completely different one. The chain they gave me weighed 6 grams less and was a hollow gold plated chain. There are multiple blemishes in the chain where you can see it has been crushed. When I confronted them about my chain they kept insisting that it was my chain when you can clearly see that its not. He was extremely rude and yelling at me when I asked how it lost 6 grams and became hollow he wouldnt give me an explanation and threatened to call the police if I didnt leave his store. I have pictures of my chain from before and it isnt the same one I got back. Worst jewelry store Ive ever been to. They stole my chain, threatened me, and kicked me out of the store. I will be filing charges against them in court. I trusted them to repair my chain and they stole it and swapped it out with a fake one.Business response

To Whom It May ****************************** September 20th, 2022 ****************** came into A&A Jewelers to have broken chain repaired. Whenever anyone comes in for a repair, we inspect the entire piece of jewelry for any other flaws or ware other that the break, and he did bring up that this is a 4 year old chain and it had been broken before but repaired somewhere else. During this conversation ****************** also told us that during the last break, the chain did lose a few inches. We then gave ****************** a price to fix the chain which he did agree upon, had him fill out an envelope with his name and phone number, and then gave him a receipt and told him that his chain would be ready the following day on September 21st, 2022. The next thing that happens is the chain go into the envelope and is brought to the jewler to be cleaned and repaired. And that exactly what we did. We cleaned and repaired the chain, put it back in the envelope with his number on it, and called ****************** first thing the next morning to let him know that his job was complete. And we did not repair any other gold chains that day. He came in later that day to pick up his chain, and thought it was great, put it on and wore it out of the store. Two week later ****************** came back to the store claiming that we gave him another chain. We have a picture of his chain with a picture of his chain from his own phone. It is the EXACT SAME CHAIN. We have been in business for 27 years. We don't yell at our customers. In fact we always go the extra mile to make our customers happy. Please look at our ******** or ****** Reviews. You will see that our customers love us because we always treat them the way that we would want to be treated. We told ****************** to leave because he was disrupting the entire store and he was definately not in his right mind. How else can you handle a cistomer that is not making sence and will not listen to reason. We don't sell used chains in our store. And we have 8 million dollars in inventory. We surely don't need ********************************* 4 grams of gold? This was clearly a scheme to get a free chain.
