Company: Finesse Garage LLC (LLC as of June 2023)Company Owner and Mechanic: *********************** *********************************************** See dates on both invoices: Reason why was long time between invoices is because the car sat in my driveway or the garage driveway until the ***** could get to installing the 2nd engine. 1st engine lasted less than two months and 250 miles the second engine lasted 3 weeks and less than 150 miles. **** car broke down again I texted *** when I could bring car into diagnostic the problem. This was his text: "Unfortunately I'm not doing anymore diagnostic work" and said I should go to another shop. I called to see if he would help to pay for another engine since I paid him twice for the same job and he said no. I took the car to another shop and they said the timing belt broke (car brought to the shop that ******************). The new OEM belt had was less than 300 miles from the 1st engine was to be installed on the 2nd engine. The belt and all the parts were to be put on the 2nd engine. The belt and all parts last 80K to 120k (not 300 miles). On the 2nd invoice it states that belt and parts to be installed from the 1st engine. (Parts cost me separately, $400, not included in invoice). I have $2000 cost that I paid for parts also not include in both invoices. I am having the 2nd engine check to see it was changes as it states in the 2nd invoice. The car is now at the shop ready for another engine. New shop gave me a replacement price $4300 plus any additional past. This over and above 1st and 2nd invoices. I have more details if needed.******************* ****************Business response

**** was a long time customer with no issues for years i have always taking care of him and his family . When he picked up his car with the first used engine . **** had stated that his check was not in the full amount, just incase anything happened . I did not appreciate that from **** as being a long time customer i have never steered him wrong . So when the 1st engine blew i did not want to go through the same transactions with ************** . However i did honor his warranty and gave him the best deal i could being a small business owner.1st engine we installed was used with lil over 100k miles on it .after it failed we went through the lengthy process of warranty for ****. Three cylinders had scores in the bore and lost compression. The second engine had lil over 100k on it aswell. I have contacted the warranty company but **** is being very impatient as he knows from last warranty claim these companies have a process it seems this complaint was filed 3 days after I informed ********** would get back to him as soon as they contacted me. They have not contacted me yet . So I never got a chance to give him an answer. The warranty company still hasn't responded.
