On Wednesday August 23, 2023 my 3 year old daughter ***************** arrived at Bright Path Quincy at 1 Heritage Drive in Quincy ************* to begin her 8th day of preschool room # ***. At 12:54 pm I, *************************, received a phone call from ****'s lead preschool teacher from room *** on her personal cell, informing me that my daughter who is anaphylactic to milk was served cheese and had eaten it. I *************************, parent of *****************, arrived at Bright Path promptly and met with ***************************** who informed me that my child had gotten out of her lunch seat, went to another child's seat, and proceeded to eat their lunch which contained cheese.My child's lead teacher (room ***) was not in the classroom but on break during lunch. I asked ******* to watch the cameras and she informed me she would at a later time. No medication was administered to my child at that time.The following day, Thursday August 24, 2023 I, *************************, arrived at Bright Path Quincy to drop off my daughter *****************. The Co teacher ****** (I believe is the name) told me that on the previous day Wednesday 08/23/23 my daughter was given cheese for lunch directly by a staff member named ****** and that I should complain to the director about ****** as ****** gave a student named ****** a fruit roll up several weeks before and he was allergic to an ingredient in the fruit roll up. At pickup time on Thursday August 24, 2023 ***************************** had viewed the cameras and told me that my child ***************** had been directly given the cheese sandwich by a co teacher *******Upon arrival to Bright Path Quincy on Friday August 25, 2023, I was made aware that my child's lead teacher ******** was absent and the co teacher ****** was in charge. I immediately told ***************************** that since the co teacher had lied several times about the incident involving my child ingesting a food she has a deadly allergy to, and never apologized, or took responsibility that I did not think she was mature, professional or responsible enough to be left with the care of my child. I proceeded to explain the liability issues to which ******* appeared dismissive of my concerns of the center as a whole. My child will no longer attend Bright Path Quincy, please consider this email written notice.At this time, I am requesting a full refund for any and all monies paid to Bright Path Quincy as of August 25, 2023 including: Deposit fee of ******** and the auto payment processed on August 25 in the amount of ********Business response

Good morning,
BrigthPath refunded $3,573.66 on September 13th. This was for all unused tuition as well as the family deposit which was the amount requested. This should have been in your account by the 15th of September.
