  On May 11th 2023 I spoke with Dr.Dental of Quincy and they confirmed they take my ***************** ********** blue Shield dental insurance. I have never found an office that accepts it outside of ** so I made sure to double check and they said it went through and to come in for my appointment. On May 12th I went for the appointment and paid 409.33$. I was caught by surprise after receiving a text on November 13th saying I have a 1,979.72$ bill. Not only did I receive this 7 months after the appointment but I was told the money I paid covered the procedure. I called them to clear it up and Ive been told to email their billing department which still hasnt got back to me and seemingly doesnt even exist. I was told they will go back on phone records to confirm I was told they take my insurance but even after providing the date and time they called I was told that a third party company takes care of phone recording so they arent able to retrieve it. This business has done nothing but send me to dead ends and now I have no means to pay an almost 2,000$ bill when I was told the 409.33$ I paid covered it. I wouldve waited until the following year when I had more insurance available through my Delta Dental plan with stop and shop. Id like some assistance on how I could clear this up. This business has thrown me through so many hoops and hasnt ever been willing to find me a solution.
