HORRIBLE SERVICE! PLEASE AVOID BUYING A CAR HERE! I DIDNT GET MY DEPOSIT BACK! THEY ARE FRAUD!! I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a vehicle from [johns auto sales], and I cannot emphasize enough how dissatisfied I am with the entire process. From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed more interested in making a sale than genuinely assisting me. First, the sales representative was pushy and dismissive of my questions, making me feel uncomfortable. I felt rushed into making a decision without being given all the necessary information about the vehicle. After finally settling on a car, I was assured that it was in excellent condition. However, within a week of driving it home, I discovered multiple issues that were not disclosed during the sale. To make matters worse, when I reached out to the dealership for assistance, customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. They seemed more focused on protecting their bottom line rather than addressing my concerns. Overall, I would not recommend [johns auto sales] to anyone looking for a fair and transparent car-buying experience. There are far better options out there where customers are treated with respect and honesty.

Mr.  ***** gave us a $500 deposit which he is looking to be refunded to him.  The tax, title and registration fees totaled $818.13.  Since his vehicle was a complete deal and was registered through the state, that money was paid to the RMV.  We explained to Mr. ***** that we, as a dealer, are not allowed to apply for an abatement for the sale tax.  He needs to file for the abatement with a Form VM-AB2 Rescission of Sale of a Motor Vehicle Affidavit.

In regards to the remainder of his complaint, we find it unfortunate that he was unhappy with the service provided at Johns Auto Sales. We strive to assist our customers with any problems they have.

He received his refund as shown by the attachment.  The check cleared our bank on may 3, 2024.  That should close this case.

I purchased my vehicle ( financed) from **** auto sales **** every month since the purchase, Ive had to take it into an auto shop to have something fixed on the vehicle. I tried reaching out to ***** several times via call or text with not a single response. He reassured me the first few times I had car troubles that the vehicle was absolutely fine, zero problems, which was untrue. I would like to be reimbursed for all the work I had done on this vehicle, and or a lower financed amount for the vehicle in general!

I inquired about a Jeep Wrangler 2012 Standard/ 2012 via the internet. **** asked me to fill out the inquiry application on their website and leave the carfax site which is where I found the Jeep. I advised **** at Johns Auto Sales that I had excellent credit, an 835 on Experian and I did not want my credit pulled. I said that I could pay cash for it but I wanted to speak with someone about delivery cost AND the asking price. I never heard from anyone about either of these points. **** continually told me that he would call me back and never did. Neither the delivery fee or the actual cost was ever discussed. Without my approval, *****, their finance guy pulled my credit for two credit unions plus their own business. I understand Johns Auto Sales pulling my report but I absolutely do not understand ****'s Auto Sales pulling my report from ******************** who doesn't even SERVICE ********. I live in ********. Evidently Johns' Auto was contacted by ******************** and then they submitted another hard pull on my credit with a different ************* All before any deal was solidified for the vehicle. Then *** and **** said they would rescind the credit pulls after I sent a check for NY Sales Tax. They have never followed through and now just text me TU when I ask. I have sent several texts because that's the only way they communicate but they refuse to remove the inquiries. I just want the two credit union pulls or hard inquiries removed from my report and they are the only ones that can do this. I am also sending my information to all three credit agencies and I have been told to contact the BBB by both Credit Unions. On a smaller note, the Jeep is Advertised as Manual transmission, but Johns Auto Sales sent the tax invoice and stated it is an automatic. I feel it is a bait and switch and what I have read on reviews, they do this to females more often.

We did reach out to the credit agencies that we were working with and the Digital ******************** is going to remove the hard inquiry. It does take about 30 days.

They just got back to us today, We do have an email from ******************************* who is in charge of DCU if you if you need some documentation, we do have that email stating that he is going to remove the credit inquiry.

We hope that this helps, thank you so much.

I bought a vehicle from this dealership and paid for them to register my vehicle and that has not happened. I found out 4 days after signing paperwork for the vehicle that it has multiple recalls on the vehicle that have not been fixed. I had originally put a $6000 deposit on a vehicle and the dealership sold that vehicle without my knowledge. I have been trying to get my money back for the vehicle and they are not cooperative at all.
