Check engine light was on I had the car towed to roll in roll out tire service. The codes were p0016 and p0017 ( can shaft sensor) I was told it would around $300 when I asked for the price before getting a ride to get my car. Upon getting there I was handed a hand type receipt , with one part listed and the 3 lines of "null' the receipt said 388.10 but my card was charged $413.10 when I got in my car the check engine light was still on and still has the same codes they claimed to have fixed. I told the person at the desk and they said it's the timing chain but upon checking with OnStar and advanced auto it is the same codes as the sensors they claimed to fix. I just want my money back as they didn't do the job they said they did. Pictures included of check engine light still being on with a personal scanner and diagnostic report from OnStar showing it wasn't fixed. The receipt I was given with a hand written total that included tax and the screenshot from my bank with the amount I was actually charged. My car now drives twice as bad as it did before this shop touched my car.

hi good the vehicle in question was brought to us by miss ******* ****** boyfriend  to check why the car had a check engine light on

after scanning the vehicle we determined crank position sensors needed to be changed and we did but it did not take the light off we got back to the customer in question boyfriend

and explained to him our findings which were  to check timing . this when he said he taken the car to some shop prior to his visit to our shop who had done the timing job on the car .

on discovering that we recommended they take the job  back to that shop since it was under warranty . we billed him for the job we did of the two sensors which came to $388 .00 plus tax
