  Excel Mechanical Holdings LLC in summer/fall of 2023 came to my building to fix its geothermal system. The system would not produce warm air and needed to be ready for wintertime. They misdiagnosed the issue and said that the 2 main pumps needed to be replaced. Some of their techs were unlicensed and working on the geothermal system. After ordering the new pumps they started to replace them and then abandoned the job halfway through. Finally after reaching back with them multiple times they came back to finish the job. The party was paid and they took the original pumps with them that were replaced after I told the, to keep the old pumps there. They did not return the old pumps and the new pumps did not fix the issue we were trying to solve with the system. Thousands of dollars were wasted for excel mechanical holdings llc's incompetence and arrogance to take on a job that they clearly did not understand.

  In the summer/fall of 2023 Excel Mechanical Holdings, LLC was requested to diagnose a geothermal system at *******************************************  Excel Mechanical was the original designer of the mechanical systems at this building and had maintained the Geothermal System and HVAC system for 10+ years for the prior owner of the building with a 2 year hiatus during the years of 2021-2023.  Excel Mechanical Holdings, LLC has an expertise on this system and this project, with the proper technicians and licenses to be able to handle and perform this work.  Upon our arrival at the building, we found that the two geothermal system pumps were not operating properly and the system needed to undergo a full maintenance.  We were hired to replace the two circulator pumps.  One of the pumps was readily available while one had a longer lead time.  After replacing the first pump, we had to wait for the 2nd pump to arrive in order to finish the install, we did not abandon the job.  Once the second pump came in we were able to come back to complete the project.  After the pumps were replaced, we had to do a full cleaning of the flat plate heat exchanger and the pond collector box as well as the maintenance of the system in order to get the system operating to its full potential. During the maintenance visit we found that we had to repair a leaking check valve and perform the full cleaning.  Once the cleaning and repair was completed, the system was operating properly and fully heating the building.  We were not compensated for this additional cleaning and repair, nor were we compensated in full for the replacement of the two pumps.
