**** at Lighthouse claimed expertise in hardscape contracting and sold us on a $30k+ patio project. It turns out **** and his team have no idea how to build a patio, and they do miserably failed to install an even passable patio addition that will all have to be torn up and redone. Lighthouse are complete amateur masquerading as experts, and I will be contacting the Wellesley building department and having them visit the site to see the pathetic attempt so they can scrutinize every project **** takes on, and get the word out about potential fraudulent claims to expertise **** might be making.Furthermore, **** verbally attacked me cursing at me at my home in front of his team and I raised issues with the quality of his work. He lost control and hurled curses and insults at me simply for pointing out the most egregious issues with his workissues he later accepted as being entirely legitimate but has since failed to settle with me over. **** has finally accepted each of my (obvious) issues with the quality of his work. However, my wife is uncomfortable with **** returning to the property after the swearing, insults and cigarette butts left all over my kids play area. Yet, **** has made ZERO attempt to make me whole on a *** subsequent professionals have characterized as a travesty and criminal.The photos below reflect **** attempt to match the existing stone. You will see he made no attempt at that, various colors of mortar in the stone work, mortar oozing out of finished corners, openings for steak cabinets that would never have even fit. This work is laughable. And, Im case **** does not settle for a reasonable amount, I am working with an attorney to file suit.
