I am writing to file a complaint about the Williams Inn because of an overcharge and excessive effort and delay in issuing a credit.I stayed at the Inn from 07-29-24 to 07-31-24 at Breakfast for Two rate. The total, with state and local taxes would have been $369.98 per day (335+17.04+17.94) of a total of $739.96. Instead I was billed for the breakfasts at checkout. I reminded the front desk of the rate, and was granted a credit of ***** to my account. (See A).You can imagine my dismay when I received my credit card bill and saw the hotel put the $***** charge right back once I left. This was dishonest. See B.I wrote to the hotel (see C) but the communication did not receive a response (see D). I also called ****** on 08-26-24. I reviewed the circumstances and shortly thereafter, I received a receipt for a credit on my credit card in the sum of $***** (see E). I have been checking my credit card daily and no credit has been issued as of 3 September 2024Business response

All credits have been issued. They may have not cleared by 9/3, however, please confirm the breakfast charge has been settled. This was due to a clerical error and staff have been trained to ensure this error is reconciled.
