In summer 2022 PHI Plumbing did a sewer line replacement in my front yard. A light pole was removed and not properly replaced because a significant portion of the pole and wiring was left above ground. A few weeks later, there was heavy rain and that light as well as the lights in my basement all appeared to be shorted out. I contacted the company and was told that because of a waiver I signed they are not responsible. On 10/19 I contacted Paramount Plumbing the parent company but got no reply. I contacted an electricial contractor who told me it would cost about $2500.00. I didn't have all of the funds to cover the repairs so I decided to wait. I later decided to contact Homeserve the insurance company. I spoke with ***************************. On 1/18 an employee from PHI came by my house to look at the issue. On 1/20 I received a return call from ***************** telling me that because the contractor who came out had cut the wire in his attempt to work around the circuit, they would not cover the repair. I tried to explain that it was because of the fact that they were using the waiver to avoid repairs I had no choice at the time but to get a contractor. Despite my sending pictures showing the wire intact and not correctly replaced, they still refused. Please let me know if you are able to help. *********************************
