Over the last several years, I have called and written Lady Refuse Trash Company and spoken to the co-owner (*******) about getting new dumpsters (2). The current dumpsters that have been provided have holes all around the bottom edges of the lower metal bottoms and also contains excessive rust which causes a build up of debris. One dumpster is located inside the trash room which leads to the inside of the condo building and the other dumpster is located on the outside within the trash corral. The fear of rodents and other wild animals getting into the dumpsters and therefore having entrance into the building is great. The dumpsters have not been changed or rewelded in 15 years. I have pictures of the openings in both dumpsters and my request continues to be ignored and unanswered. This is also a health and safety hazard.Business response

The customer has constantly harassed my workers while they perform their job duties. The customer is a little impatient and thinks things can be done overnight. The rust in the bottom of the cans come from continuous liquid being poured in the dumpster down the trash shoot. When water and solution sits it the cans it rusts the inside of the cans. As far as debris getting stuck in the bottom, when liquid is poured and dries the items stick to the bottom. The cans are going to be replaced but it takes time to get the cans done and delivered.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I have not constantly harassed Lady Refuse workers. I spoke to the company's workers one time several years ago and they were so rude that I was taken back that I never tried to confront them again. One of the workers of Lady Refuse told me, "Don't talk to me". I have been texting and emailing the female co-owner about our request and complaints ever since along with reporting complaints to the property managers of our condo building and homeowners association. I wish I didn't have to complaint and I wouldn't if the company would uphold their contract and do their job with responsibility and accountability.We did get a better looking dumpster in the inside trash room and now we need an outside dumpster without it being rusted out holes in it. It is the companies responsibility to maintain their dumpsters. The dumpsters belong to the company. We are paying on time for a service and that is all I'm asking is for them to provide that service i.e. empty regular trash twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) and empty recycle trash ever other week on (Tuesdays or Wednesdays). Sometimes our recycle trash does not get empty until the third or fourth week and the bins are spilling over. Also, the sometimes the workers see trash bags at the bottom of the dumpsters and will not pull the bags out. They have also pushed the dumpster back into the trash room so hard that there is now a hole in the cinder block wall which has to be repaired along with other property that they have damaged, ie., the grass while backing into the driveway.
If dumpsters were completely emptied we would not have to pour disinfected cleanser down the shoot to keep the smell down.
I would appreciate it if Lady Refuse company would do their job with Pride and Respect so I would not have to waste my time complaining; I have more important things to do.
