Maxim Staffing and *** ******* ****** ******** have a "relationship" status refusing to hire people from a non-competitive position under one year. This goes against the Washington State law of RCW 49.62.020 and RCW 49.62.030 stating that it is unenforceable and void in any circumstantial contracts. It also goes against Federal Law Part 910—Non-Compete Clauses. Maxim Staffing and the Maxim Corporation as a whole has this "relationship" they do not wish to sully. Thus forcing all worker within any school district currently working unable to work at the beginning of the school year.

I have a special needs infant that came home from the NICU at 4 months old on 4/15/22. Maxim was the first company able to find me a day nurse. She started 5/3/22 and has been absolutely fantastic. She has become part of our family and goes above and beyond her duties to help me out. I am disabled and cannot care for my baby on my own. At the end of her shift on Fri 9/2/22 right before a holiday weekend, Maxim fired my nurse for a "legal matter." My nurse had already told me this was a complaint from a previous patient's mother that my nurse had only been with for 4 days. She's been with me and my son for 4 months and I have had no complaints and only have given her the highest of praise. Maxim said they can set up meet and greets for a new day nurse, but I would go without coverage for at least 2 days. This is unacceptable. They knew they were going to fire my nurse and did not have a replacement ready. Maxim never disclosed this "legal matter" with me prior to my nurse starting in May, only after they fired her. If she was such a safety concern, why did they assign her to a case with a 4-month-old, and why did they never tell me anything? I also had requested a night nurse in July to use the rest of the insurance hours. We had a night nurse 2 days a week for 2 weeks. This one was terrible. She didn't give medications or feedings on time, though her notes said she did. She falsified a lot of her notes. She was incapable of soothing the baby to the point I had to get up to help her. She would only change his diaper 2 times during the night; however, I know from my nights with him he would regularly be changed 5-6 times during the night, so she would let him sit in dirty diapers. This nurse was fired from our case after 2 weeks, and Maxim has not been able to find a replacement. It's been 2 months. Maxim has left me, a disabled mom, home alone with a special needs 8 month old who I cannot care for on my own. All they could say was "I'm sorry, it's out of our hands."

I have been constantly harassed by Maxim for jobs even though I have called their HR department to complain and have them stop contacting me. They continue to send me emails, texts and calls. I am a disabled veteran that cannot do patient care and have told them that I would not seek employment with their company since I can only work from home. Robert ***** is the person that continues to contact me and harass me, it is hard enough not being able to find work without this company constantly flooding both my inbox and personal phone!

They call and text me multiple times a week even though everyone I have spoken to has promised to take me off the phone list. I have blocked number but messages still come through. Maxim Healthcare supplies our home health nurses. For the past ten months we have gone without nursing coverage on weekends. They have been unable to fill this opening. Our only night nurse is pregnant and will be going on maternity leave effective April 16th. Maxim has informed us we will need to change our Medicaid insurance provider in order to keep home health nursing. After we jump through all these hoops to change insurance providers they cannot guarantee coverage. Our options for home health nursing coverage are slim so my hands are tied. Please help us. Maxim is not holding up their end of the bargain.
