The open session was late getting out beforehand, which took time away from our party. I had my son's birthday party on 03/23/24. The conditions of the snack bar area were ABSOLUTELY horrible! The lids to the pitchers were dirty & disgusting, floors looked like they had not been cleaned in years. The tables/benches were poorly cleaned. I had to clean them myself with sanitizing wipes that I brought as a cautionary measure. The pizza tastes like cardboard with cheese & sauce on it. Our guests left the party hungry, sadly. From the beginning it has been very challenging to get someone from the business on the phone, but I decided to move forward. I should have taken that as a possible sign of lack of attention to detail. I did not complain to the employees because it should be something that they should be aware of due to online reviews (which appear that no one is taking heed to) and the overall condition of the skating rink. As well as I felt as thought it would have fallen on death ears based on the condition of the facility an Perhaps the health board needs to come in and see for themselves the unacceptable conditions of the snack bar area. As a patron I don't choose to pay my hard earned money to receive well below substandard conditions/food. Outside of my guests creating a memorable experience amongst one another; the only thing I can say positive it that the young man and lady that waited on us were polite. It is my sincere hope that the issues mentioned can and will be resolved as well as I am refunded what I certainly feel is adequate compensation. This is a receipt for the $100.00 deposit (somewhat worn) as proof of the party that was paid on 1/27/24. It is indicated on the bottom of the receipt by the Skateland employee that the party was for 3/23/24 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm The balance was paid by credit card which that statement has not closed out yet so I do not have proof of that until sometime next month.Customer response
