M Barr Coins does business in Frederick, MD through a brick & mortar business as well as through online sales from their store and on the **** platform. I interact with them online and through ****. They recently listed items as being made of silver but the item is made of stainless steel. They have more than 70 posts of the exact item listed and described the items as being made of silver each time. I notified them on 6/12/2024 that they were incorrect and needed to edit the listing or remove it. In the interim leading up to the time of this report, they never changed the listings or removed them and even posted more fraudulent listings. I say these are fraudulent at this point because they were informed of their error on several occasions from myself and another buyer on the platform and they admitted in correspondence that they had made a mistake but did nothing to fix their wrong. I have all of the correspondence that occurred between myself and M Barr Coins as well as the correspondence between them and the other buyer that was mentioned previously. Ultimately, I want them to do the right thing though that seems unlikely.Business response

The buyer's claim that we operate with a brick and mortar location is false, we sell exclusively online, primarily on ****. In the buyer's own document provided as evidence, you can see that we acknowledged the mistake and were working to correct it. In the buyer's own words, there were "a bunch of these" which unfortunately takes time to correct. Certain denominations and dates of this coin vary in metal composition, which need to be individually reviewed to ensure are correctly listed and if not, fixed.Initial Complaint

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/28) */ The customer won an auction for a valuable item for $0.01 due to an eBay auctioning error. eBay confirmed the error and even removed the customer's feedback as it was unfair to our business as this was not our fault. The customer had been refunded for the purchase. The customer is more than welcome to contact eBay customer support for further information.
