SCAM SITE. Charged me $35 and another $1 to my card. I was registered for 7 day free trial. Went over by 1 day and they wouldn't even refund. I don't see any benefit from this site when all other job boards are free.iHire, LLC Response

Hi Michael - As described in our terms and conditions as well as in our registration and payment flows, users who take the $1 trial have seven days to cancel their trial before they are automatically enrolled in a monthly Premium membership. I am an employee searching for a position. My experience with iHire is this, this site inundate my email box, but I have yet to receive a request from an employer regarding my resume, a job opportunity or interview request. My impression of this site is that it gathers your personal information: name, email address and phone number, and then overwhelm you with non-related job opportunities. They intentionally make the cancellation process very confusing. If you click the "cancel future billings" it actually takes you to a dead-end page asking you to check out their other services before you cancel. To actually cancel your account you must go to the "contact" page. Totally misleading.iHire, LLC Response

Hi *******, It seems there has been some misunderstandings. While we do present users with a list of the services they will no longer have access to on the cancelation page, there is a link after that list to cancel a subscription easily. As our company was a new iHire client, I needed training on its use. Any time I requested assistance, it was an immediate response. Customer Service has been outstanding. Also, both times we've advertised, we have been fortunate to hire providers from our advertisement. Our requirements are more detailed, as we absolutely have to have bilingual Spanish speaking providers, and with a minimum of 1-year experience in Family Medicine. What I like is the grade iHire rates the applicants. The higher the grade, the more in line with your requirements are met. You do receive some interest from unqualified applicants who don't read the job listing. Regardless, you can disqualify that applicant if necessary. We have worked with recruiters which have seen dismal results and whose rates are high. Advertising on iHire has been productive and at an affordable cost. iHireBroadcasting has been very helpful for me to get candidates with the specific skillset that we need on ***** ********* ****** *****. Running a TV-station/Cable Company on a Cruise Ship requires a significant amount of industry experience from a wide range of Broadcast-related areas. iHireBroadcasting has helped us to find those unique candidates that meet (or exceed) our needs. We did pay for the job to be posted, but we were able to get the quality of candidate that we needed. As such, it was a good return on investment. I cannot comment on the payment requirement for the job-seeker, but can say as an employer, this website has been very helpful to get us back to full staffing after the pandemic.iHire, LLC Response

SCAM. Please beware. I paid the $395 plus $50 for a resume and cover letter. They company advertises an industry leading, eye-catching design, keyword optimization, and 100% satisfaction guarantee. What they provided was a very generic format that had a resume that clearly did not have industry knowledge of my specific field. There were many grammatical errors. After several hours editing the draft myself, I realized it was going to be a futile effort, as they wanted to have a new person work on the resume as the person who put together my initial draft quit the position. I kindly asked for a refund, due to their 100% satisfaction guarantee. After days of back and forth they offered me a 50% refund. This process added a lot of stress and low quality work to an already stressful process. If you are going to pay $450 for a this service, it really should be quality work that they stand behind - especially with their "100% satisfaction guarantee" which should be updated to 50% satisfaction guarantee, if that's how much they are truly willing to stand behind their work. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT and a waste of weeks of my time.iHire, LLC Response

We have a very generous 30-day window for edits to be requested and made before presenting you with a final resume. Our commitment to a customer’s 100% satisfaction with their resume includes the 30 days in which the resume writer works with you on edits before presenting you with a final, complete resume.
As we explained in our call with you on May 5, our Terms and Conditions state our projects are nonrefundable after a writer is assigned and an initial resume is written. The untimely departure of the writer assigned to your resume during that 30-day window is unfortunate, but we were poised to seamlessly transfer the project to another certified writer who was available for this project. Because the first writer had already written a usable resume, and we were committed to continuing working with you, we were only able to give a 50% refund. We are sorry that you were unhappy after receiving the refund, and wish you the best in your job search.
