My son purchased a Hybrid V3 skateboard from Bustin Board Co. on July 31, 2022 as his main form of transportation to his college campus. He was able to ride it for only 3 weeks before one of the wheels stopped working at no fault of his own. The board was never ridden through water, through puddles, was never left in or ridden in the rain; he didn't treat the board in any destructive manner. On or about September 2022, I called Bustin Board Co. to report the board broken and spoke to a person named "Ben", who told me to have my son return the board right away since the board is still well within warranty. He told me as soon as he sees the shipping label come through, he will put a brand new board in the mail to us since this is my son's only form on transportation. **My son returned the broken board to Bustin Board Co. in September 2022 and never received a new board in return or a refund - we have not heard from this business since** Since September 2022 and up until today - we have sent emails, left voice messages, have sent messages through social media - Bustin Boards Co. has not responded but to say there was water damage to the battery (which is false as the board was never submerged in water). They have not contacted us to fix the board, to return the board, to send a new board, or to refund our money. When trying to call, their phones do not work. When emails are sent, we do not receive a reply. Bustin Board Co. is in violation under the Maryland Secretary of State, they have a "forfeited" status and are in "BAD STANDING". They should not be able to continue to sell and promote their product and take customers' money unless they are operational, in good standing and willing to address issues that surface with their product. My son would like a FULL REFUND to resolve this matter. Particularly since they are still in possession of the board we purchased (order #XXXXXXX for reference). I will be writing a letter to the MD Attorney General as well.Business response
