I took my car to RPM on Sept 8th for a 6 day paint job. On the 16th, I was told they had to replace my battery, but they did not advised me of any mechanical issues before conducting the repairs. I received a text saying my car was ready on the 19th. I arrived on the 20th at 8 am to pick up the car and was told the car would be ready at 10 because they had to take pictures and clean the car. At 10:15 I asked for an update. I was told by ***** the lights on the dashboard were on and they don't know what is wrong with the car. I received a call later in the day from the insurance company that the shop had to replace my amplifier. I was told I could pick the car up, but the car would have no sound. The part needed would not be available for 5 to 6 days. I called on the 27th and was told the car would be ready on the 28th. At this time, I told ***** I am not paying the $250 deductible because they caused damage to my car and no one can explain why or how it happened. He said, he would talk to the manager. I arrived on the 30th to pick up the car. I was told I owed $200 and they took $50 off. I asked why would I pay anything when they had the car for 22 days and caused unknown damage to the car. The manager said, "it is fixed isn't it? I don't know if the car is fixed because no one will explain what caused the issue. I don't know why the shop was working on mechanical issues on the car when I came for a paint job. They had the car for 22 days and can't or won't tell me exactly what they did to cause the damage. I want my $200 returned because I am taking the car to another mechanic to have them verify what was done to the car. The car is a 2017 ***** ** *** * sport with less than 48,000 miles. All of the maintenance to the car has been done at a ****** or ***** dealership.Business response
