My complaint is to ensure this company/broker is held accountable for the refund of my home owners insurance policy that I cancelled on 11/3/22. I called this company now 3 times, and each time I have been told my cancellation and refund is being issued by the carrier, Travelers, however each time I have called both Travelers and Goosehead, I have learned that mistakes were made and refunds were not processed or issued correctly due to the errors of the rep at Goosehead, or the rep blaming the insurance carrier, Travelers. As the broker- Goosehead is responsible for the management of the account, and as noted by the carrier Travelers, all cancellations and refunds must be issued by the broker. The service by Goosehead has been sub par from the start, and they seem to have challenges following through and managing accounts, and their customer service is terrible. This is one of the main factors for my cancellation of my policy with them. Please see the documentation for the detail of my calls, supporting emails, and documents associated with this complaint. I would like this company monitored until this refund is completed correctly because they are incapable of follow through and are putting me at risk of a higher mortgage payment due to their neglegance in issuing the refund correctly in a timely manner.
