I purchase the Range Rover in October, the car was shipped only after a windshield replacement on Oct 6. that was confirmed by the sale person, and the dealer. Since i get the car i florida, its getting errors on the Safety Features, Brought the car to Land Rover Pompano Beach (********** Group same as i bought the car) they couldn't fix the car saying that the windshield needs to be replaced because have a problem on it, Preventing the sensors of Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Alert and Lane Assist, it means ALL safety security features are not operating. Was trying to get a solution, but no success. Brought the Car to Land Rover Palm Beach to get a second opinion, same report issue, Windshield need to be replaced. So basic i had the car more time on dealership than on my possession, and i do not feel safe driving the car because this issue, even on the dashboard says "proceed with caution to dealer".

Car was dropped off at the dealer on December 17, 2022 to replace my navigation system and the timing because the vehicle failed emissions inspection. They promised to fix the car since December 17th and as of today the car has not been fixed. It took Jaguar Range Rover time to contact the warranty company (*** ******). They did not contact them until January 26, 2022. Upon that time my car was sent to ******* dealership in Rockville for testing of the repairs of my car. I was not informed of this until the around February 21st that Red Shield wanted to charge me about $800 for a test they wanted to do on my car to find out what was wrong with the car before they make a decision on whether they will fix my car which would cost them $5,200 to fix my car. However, I extended warranty I purchased from Jaguar dealer in 2019 and my warranty doesn't expire until 2025. I feel that Jaguar Ranger Rover needs to make some type of compensation from the time they had my car till now. They have promised me from the last 4yrs that they would replace my navigation system since I bought the car. They will haven't done as promised. This issue has forced me to go and buy another car 2 weeks ago. They failed to give me a loaner knowing I need a car to get to and from work.

March 17, 2022 - made an agreement to purchase a 2008 ****** Put down 3500 on a 8900 car with a promise to come back the next day to pay the balance while they did the paperwork. It was near closing on St Patricks Day. They promised in response to a direct question not to sell it from underneath me. Said they would put it in the back of the lot with a sold sign on it. Tried to contact them saturday to make arrangements to pay and then again sunday morning. No response. Went in person on sunday to find out what was going on. They told me they had sold the car and were too scared to call me. I angrily caused a bit of a scene cause they lied. Asked for my check back which they said they had not deposited. Turns out they did deposit it and i have to wait a week to get it back. maybe. The GM and I had words and he said he had **** my mom that morning. Foul language, taunting and arguing were on both sides. They also allowed for a credit check on my wife and child with out their permission and encourgaged me to sign their names. Only after did I realize I committed a fraudulent act.

In June 2022, my partner and I leased a used 2021 ******** ******** from the Land Rover Bethesda dealership. Several representatives told us at the dealership that we would receive a buyback at the same price when their new Range Rover arrived. The dealership induced me into a 7-year financing arrangement at high-interest rates and promised gap insurance. The new Range Rover arrived in September, and dealership employees repeatedly assured me that I could turn in the ******** for the same price at any time. However, when I attempted to turn in the Escalade in January 2023, the new General Manager, *****************************, told me that the vehicle had negative equity and that I would have to pay nearly $17,000 to turn it in. As for why the dealership was no longer willing to honor the terms we set when purchasing the car, **************** said, that is because of *****************; it's his fault. I received no response when I reached out to **************** with a letter on January 30, 2023.

I purchased a vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover Bethesda on October 30, 2021. The vehicle, after 3 days of purchase, began making strange noises and abruptly reducing speed while on acceleration. The vehicle also had a warning light for a loose gas cap. This alert popped up whenever I was driving and eventually the engine light appeared. I contacted them repeatedly about this and the vehicle and the vehicle has been back to the dealerships service department more than 10 times. At this point, the service department manager and my salesperson are ignoring my messages and will not respond. This vehicle cannot pass MD inspection in it's current state. The check engine light is still on and there's an exhaust leak. The engine issue was a preexisting issue and they have a vehicle return guarantee that they did not allow me to take advantage of. When I returned the car after only 4 days reporting issues, I was told that I couldn't swap out or return the vehicle because contracts were already signed.

I am requesting issuance of a letter addressed to Maryland MVA to clear my ownership of a 2008 *** ** (VIN# ***************** )purchased/returned to Autonation Jaguar Land Rover, Bethesda, MD. On 8/16/22, I purchased a 2008 *** ** from the Autonation Jaguar Land Rover Bethesda-**** location and returned the vehicle on 8/17/22. Upon my return on 8/17/22, they refused to write a letter of return of the vehicle. When my family and I advised them that we would not leave until a letter was written, ***********************, Financial Services Director, gave me a refund of my deposit and scribbled a note(on the back of the receipt) that the vehicle was returned. **************** and ***** (Sales Representative) advised that an email would be sent in a few days regarding return of the vehicle. I never received that email, contacted them many times, and never received a response. On 11/13/22, MD MVA(*********) issued 15 citations(with a due date of 12/13/22) for failure to pay tolls(dated from 9/16 thru 10/27/22), due to the above cited vehicle remains registered to me. Per MVA, it appears that Autonation later sold the 2008 *** ** with a temporary tag #********, still registered to me and the new owner. To clear my liability for the citations, MVA requested a letter from Autonation to clear my name as one of the owners of the vehicle. On 11/18/22, I called the Bethesda location and spoke with ********************* regarding my request for the letter. She sent me an email( carbon copied to ********************* and ***********************) which stated they would send a letter of ownership release, on 11/21/22. However, I didn't receive a response. As a result, I submitted a follow-up email, but no response as of today. On 11/23/22, I submitted my complaint to *************************** (CEO of Autonation) but did not receive a response. On 11/30/22, I submitted a follow up email to ****************, but no response as of today. Thanking you in advance for solving this matter.

I purchased a Land Rover ******** from this company last year August. I never received title nor tags. I had to beg for temp tags as the ones given expired and I kept getting pulled over by the police for expired tags. I eventually traded that ******** in for a new 2023 ********. I paid this company the taxes and tags to have them put on the vehicle. So I paid twice for these tags and have still not received them. I have had my tags already expire three times and coming up on a fourth time this Nov 2nd. I get the run around from the company, that the person that was doing them quit, that they don't do them in house, that the finance manager was fired. Speaking of which, the came back to me three months later and told me that the finance manager never collected the money for my trade and that I needed to pay another 29k dollars. Yes, 29k dollars for the old trade in. Which I did. Even though my attorney said that it was on them at that point. I do not know what kind of shady business this company is running, but all I want is my tags and title for a car that I paid over 120k cash for. They have no problems calling and emailing me for the title for the other ******** that I traded in. Which was sent by mail a month ago after receiving it, to the address the salesman provided. At this point, I just want the title and my taxes and tag money back and I will go and register it myself. Every time I get a new person from there company that has know idea what is going on and they send me the same paperwork to fill out, which I have and emailed and *******, **** and hand delivered to their office. Still NOTHING. The only time the manager has called me back was to get the 29k they said they forgot to collect. Not once to help me with my tags.

I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from the dealership on 3/22/2022. A couple of days later, the passenger rear tire went completely flat. I called and had it towed to a dealership in New York, my home state, Jaguar Landrover ***********, on 4/8/22. The tire was examined and declared destroyed, needing replacement. I gave the dealership the maintenance contract purchased on the vehicle, ******** Vehicle Service Contract, and to my surprise, it did not exist. The dealership called the service provider for several days, and they could not pull the contract from their system. On April 11, I called the dealership to speak with my salesperson, Sherry W*** and sent an email to the finance guy, D**** I*, Jose R***. Jose told me to give the system a few more days, and the contract would be ready in the system. The New York dealership and I called the ******** Vehicle service administrator every day, checking if the contract was in the system, and it never was. I continued to call Sherry, Jose, and the dealership's general manager, but nothing happened. After multiple calls to the contract admin, they finally told me that their system does not work like that. It doesn't take that long to process contracts; it takes only 24hours for a fully executed contract to show up in the system. I called the lender, **** *********, to confirm the contract on file, and again to my surprise, Jose never purchased an actual contract for me. he sent the estimated contract to the lender. The agent from **** ********* reached out to the administrator, and they confirmed that the dealership never purchased a contract on my vehicle. The **** ********* agent tried a couple of times to contact the dealership but got a voicemail. I request that the contract I paid for be processed and this dealership investigate for this incident. I believe that the finance guy, Jose R*** ***** II, is running a ***** scheme, selling fake maintenance service plans to customers hoping that they don't use them

      Business response

      05/12/2022

I, Marisa O*******, have spoken to **************** on 5/12/22 regarding the ********* Vehicle Protection and provided proof via email that her contract was registered.  This contact was purchased and is in fact a valid contract, there was no misrepresentation of products.

I'm making a compliant regarding the issues we are having and experiencing with Land Rover Jaguar dealership in Bethesda, Maryland. We, (my husband and I) have always purchased ***** ****** from this dealership, Land Rover Jaguar dealership as this is our 3rd ***** ***** purchase from them but this is the worst and awful experience we have ever encountered with one lie after the other. Ever since Auto Nation purchased them, their ways of dealing with customers have severely deteriorated, awful, disgraceful and they lie so much that its even hard to trust anything they verbally tell you unless one have it in writing. If I have seen all this complaints by other customers on BBB from this dealership, we would never have purchased this current vehicle here as I have indicated earlier, the customer service was phenomenal until it was taken over by Auto Nation which has been a disaster and disgusting service. We purchased this 2016 ***** ***** on July 9, 2021 for 46,706.34 with our monthly payment of $765 and paying this kind of monthly payment and having issue/problem with the vehicle a dealership like this sell to you and not correcting the problems while the car was still under warranty is a total shame and disgrace. The vehicle was still under warranty when we purchased it as the check engine light keeps coming up with Suspension Fault. My husband called them and they gave us an appointment to bring it in which below is the email between my husband and the manager as I will use this as Exhibit A since there are several emails between my husband and the manager which I will be uploading as supporting documents. I have uploaded the email communications between my husband and the manager at the company when we encountered the first issue. I have also included more information regarding what have transpired since there is not enough space to type all my concerns in.
