National ***************************** Centers sent two bills to the wrong mailing address. Although they had my phone and email I was never contacted regarding a balance due on my account. This was sent to a collection agency. The reason why I want rectification is because of my security clearance, for the next six years I will have to explain and document the reason why I was sent to a collection agency. National Spine and Pain Centers billing department is blaming the medical office and the medical office is blaming the billing department and I can't get ahold of anyone willing to bring a resolve to this. What I do have is documentation that the bill was sent to the wrong mailing address. Instead of ***** the bill was sent to ******. The billing department acknowledges that the bills were returned to them, but they didn't bother to call or email me, instead going straight to collections.

I am 74. I go to the National Spine & Pain Center in Bowie. I get injections for my knees, back, side, and a prescription of ******* ** My knees have been causing me much pain so I had to take a little bit more of my ******* * and I ran out before Nov. 16. I had to reschedule my Dec. appt. to accommodate ********************'s vacation. I She is in charge of the medication. My new appt was Dec. 16, at 2:15 pm. (I always leave my home 1 hr before my scheduled appts and it takes me about 40 minutes to get there.) I was leaving for my Dec. 16 appt. (****) when both sides of the road were shut down with ******* trucks and other official cars. I had to take an alternate route. When I got back on ****, I called the answering office to inform them of my issue. They in turn called my office to inform them what was going on. She came back with a answer telling me that "if I am not there by 1 minute past 2:15 pm, I would not be seen." Besides all of the pain and stress that was already going on in me, I thought that was mean. However, I drove faster than usual, prayed, and watched my time. I got to the front door at 2:14 pm. At this point, I didn't like the feeling that I was on my knees to some drug. Intuitively, I knew it was the big dumb woman at the desk who made that statement. I became angry and I expressed how I was feeling at that moment considering my condition. She said don't take it out on me and I said that I wasn't. She lied and told the doctor that I was late and I was not late. I still have the print that shows my appt time. They need to hire people who are experienced in dealing with people who have pain, on drugs, and stressed. They have one person, *******, who handles people very well. I was a House Manager for 5 special needs woman and I had to deal with all of their issues. It didn't make me a victim. I DO NOT WANT NATIONAL SPINE & PAIN IN BOWIE to charge my insurance companies for service they didn't provide to me on Dec. 16., 2021. I RECEIVED NO SERVICE.
