On January 27, 2021 I contacted Vito Services to request a plumbing technician because water would leak in the basement after doing laundry. I paid $589.43 to have pipes snaked. On January 6, 2022, I contacted Vito again about the same issue and the same technician came out and did the same thing for the same price. A week later on January 14th, I called Vito about the same issue and again they sent out the same technician who was going to charge me again to fix what had not been fixed on the 6th. The technician was clearly unaware of what the issue was and he kept going outside to call his supervisor who only offered to lower the price to do the same thing. I am out $1,178.86 and still have the same problem. The supervisor was saying we could be throwing stuff down the drain, and because the repair was not under warranty, they could not help further.Business response

*****, Good Morning.
Reviewed the (2) Service Tickets that **. ****** uploaded.
First ticket was in January 27, 2021 for a stoppage that was cleared. Charge was $589.43.
Second ticket was ONE YEAR later on January 6, 2022 for same problem. Charge was $493.20 which included a 10% discount.
Ironically, *** ****** did not send you the third service ticket from January 14, 2022 in which our technician clearly states
I have attached a copy of the third service ticket. There was NO CHARGE for that trip.
We DO NOT warranty drain line stoppages which is common practice in our industry. We do not control what people put down the drains or the existing condition of the drain line. This was explained to **. ******. There are other options to explore the line such as using a camera to identify the issue and or hydro jetting the line but these are additional charges.
This is a very common problem in the Residential Plumbing world and our technicians are well trained to have these frequent conversations with Customers. If there is anything else we can provide please let me know.
