  In 2016, Cimino Contractors put a new roof on the main part of the house. This included a mansard roof. He also put a barrier on the flat roof at the back of our house. The flat roof was a disaster from the beginning, but we decided to eat the loss and paid another contractor to do the job right. Within two years, the shingles started falling off the mansard part of our roof. I called and left messages, but got no call back. Finally, I posted onto the ******** page and he finally got back to me in 2021. The manufacturer of the shingles agreed to provide replacement shingles, but in my presence, the agent told him that the shingles had to be adhered at the bottom when installed on a mansard roof. Cimino did the replacement. This summer, the shingles started to fall off again. I guess he didn't install it right the second time either. I have called several times. He has said numerous times that he would fix the problem but he has been a no-show. He doesn't explain what is going on, he just doesn't show up. In the mean time, the shingles are once again falling off the roof. There are only a few, but the problem will increase over time just like they did the last time. I want him, or even better, a responsible contractor, to replace damaged shingles and adhere all shingles on the mansard areas of our roof as recommended by the manufacturer.

  Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/11/08) */ Ok so when we recieved a call from the customer in 2021 about the shingles coming off I told her I would be out because something didn't sound right with this situation. The shingles were coming apart and I called the *** manufacturer and they met me out there, we came to the conclusion that these shingles were defective and the gave us the new shingled in accordance with the warranty. The shingles were then installed and we made sure on this type of roof that every shingle got 6 nails in them and the situation was completed. Now I get a phone call that the same thing is going on so I went back out and seen 2 shingles that have blown out , and that's unfortunate but I told her to give me a week a and I will come back to install the shingles and it has nothing to do with the last time where they completely separated, I however was laid up and back and forth to the hospital with back issues that require surgery and Literally can't walk, that's the reason we didn't get there last week and my company has had 2 complaints since 1996 that's it. I received this complaint on a Monday and the repairs were completed on Tuesday the day after. This roof is in excellent condition and will have no future problems. She got a new roof out of the deal and I know plenty of companies that would of patched it over and over. I held up my warranty on my end and have never had anyone complain about is not upholding a warranty. Thank you
