******* Martin and his company Martin & Sons Plumbing and Heating performed work for me, *******************, at ******************************************************************************. In short, this job was/is a rough-in for a new bathroom (residential). Payment for the rough-in was made promptly, but the work is still not completed.Details:Martin's invoice #**** sent on 4.23.2022 for the amount $4,150.Paid in full by ******************* from check #**** issued on 4.26.2022 and cashed on 4.27.2022.Invoice reads:Work performed on 4.21.2022, 4.22.2022, and 4.25.2022 Description of service:rough-in all drainage and water lines for new shower unit, toilet, and sink on second floor of home.run all new lines down to the basement and tie them into the existing drainage and water lines.installed all vents for fixtures and tied together for pentertration of the roof (to be done by others after rough-in inspection) !!!install homeowner furnished shower valve for future installation of tile on walls.after water connected in basement, turn water on to future fixtures to test. (then turn off until needed).test all new drainage lines with air to test for leaks and for inspector.price includes plumbing permit from the ************************.After an abundance of patience, emails, texts, and phone calls since April 27th and with a concentrated number of these correspondences between today July 7th of 2022 and June 24th of 2022, ******* Martin and his business have made no effort to complete the work paid for and promised via invoice #****. The unfinished details include:1) "tie [new lines] into the existing drainage"2) "Installed all vents and tied together"this is the only unclear deliverable as the remaining parenthetical describes part of the work to be done by others. My understanding would be that the finish work--ie cutting through the roof and finishing--would be the work to b done by others.
