I told this oil company in May on the phone that I wanted no more automatic deliveries after March. and the secretary said yes, ***** will write that down in your notes. And then yesterday 528/24 they filled my tank with oil and for $762.81 wiped out my bank account!!Business response

Dear BBB,
We never spoke or corresponded with ************************* on Friday.
We spoke with ***************************. She informed us that her husband had called on 2/7/24 to be taken off auto and to pay $500 on the account. We write every single call that comes into the office. We went back to that day and we did see where **************** called and paid $200, but failed to take himself off automatic deliveries.
We explained this to ******* after she repeatedly belittled our staff and our company. ******* did call back and she apologized and disclosed some personal information. We then came to a comprise where we would return their money if **************** would sign a promissory note for the product that was delivered. A promissory note was drawn up where payment arrangements have been made for the delivery in question.
**************** came into our office and signed the promissory note and we handed him a check in the amount of $762.81

******* did call them as the photo proves but the security didnt write down his wishes of coming off automatic delivery but since its their word against ours we will close the case.
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.
