my vehicle sat by the side of the road exposed to rodents, pedestrians and the elements as it got really cold. They removed every bolt and nut, and refused to finish the job they started. I got it towed elsewhere and then I found out they tampered with a piece to my engine that would cause my engine to fail, my vehicle was missing parts like my bumper, headlights things that werent damaged that I had to have my insurance replace, they lied to me about parts that were intended to be picked up at the wheel house in ******* saying they were waiting on delivery of parts for weeeks when they were being picked up. They spoke to me so disrespectfully to the point I was scared inside their shop as one of there car guys jumped up from his seat yelling at me because I was concerned with the time frames they were saying it would be done and 6 weeks into it nothing had been even stated. As a single mom they treated me as if I was stupid and held onto my car. **** is not a reputable business every shop I called spoke on how unorthodox and unprofessional they were to tare down my vehicle and not finish it because of insurance rates. I was able to get ** auto body to put it back together and work on it. Today I found out through JC that the way Jacksons torn down my vehicle initially ruined my engine, and it is now in LIMP mode and not working properly. The engine is intact damaged My vehicle was a good vehicle, it had regular maintenance and taken good care of, **** has been such an awful experience and as a single mother who needs to transport her kids to school and myself to work I need a vehicle. I paid for this car outright after saving and saving for it, ***** I need Jacksons to replace my vehicle as they are the ones that destroyed it I have paid over ************ rental fees and have missed work because of this September 26 - I havent had my 2017 **** escape And I was supposed to get it this week and found out its ruined I have supporting documentationBusiness response

To BBB, I am going to reach out to ******************* and try to get more specifics on what is wrong with the drivability of her car. In the meantime I will review all information and interview my employees. I find this scenario very much out of our character for my company. If I can repair her engine issue to help this situation I will do that. I do know that her car was towed to my lot because it had front end damage and was running in limp mode upon arrival. Any tear down that was performed by my team was only what was instructed from her insurance adjuster. I will attempt to help her and reach back out to you. This business damaged a car waiting for repairs in its parking lot and claimed car had those damages when it was brought in.Business response
