I called to have 100 gallons of heating fuel delivered to my fathers address in November 2022. They deliver there regularly. I requested number 2 mix to the back of the building. Three days later I received a bill for 38 gallons. I called to find out why 100 gal were not delivered and was told the tank was full. I told them it was not full and discovered they delivered number 2 fuel to the k1 only spicket (its clearly marked) pfor our upstairs monitor brand heater. I called them back and stated they made an error. I asked them to come pump it out immediately as per monitor brand only k1 is to be used and can damage the system. They refused stating it was a new driver and the number 2 fuel was ok. I requested again to have it pumped out and they refused. They delivered the 100 gallons to the back spicket after request but would not pump out their error. I then got billed for the error. After asking to have it refunded they did but are now sending me a bill. I do not owe this as I never ordered it. It was a company error and they refused to fix it. It is not my responsibility and they will not honor that. I do not want this on my credit report.Initial Complaint

I have repeatedly requested to be switched to will call for deliveries. Main Street Fuel has continued to deliver oil and propane that I have not called for. They also havent been sending me bills or left invoices, so I was unaware of the deliveries or charges accruing until I found an invoice from an oil delivery on a door k*** last week and I caught someone delivering propane yesterday. Today, they sent the image of an invoice attached below with no other explanation. The company offered an extended repayment time or to take their propane tank. I had no intention of buying oil from them this heating season and I had no need of propane at this time. Theyve offered no accountability for their errors. Theyre trying to pass the full cost on to me.Business response

On October 18,2022, I replaced a failed water heater. Main Street Fuel is trying to enforce an unsigned contract that includes unnecessary parts and excessive labor. The total amount they seek is $1350. for parts and $420. for labor ( at $105 per hour). The parts amount includes $100 for fittings, pipes, etc. I provided all necessary parts except the water heater itself. The labor amount is for two workers and two hours each. I disinstalled the old heater myself ( I am a self-employed handyman) . Installing the new heater took 20 minutes. I contend the price should be based on time and materials - $1250 for the heater and their one hour minimum labor charge of $105. I have tried to discuss/ resolve this matter on three occasions so far but they refuse to consider my point. I need help.
