Hello,I reached out to her with an inquiry for a male mini or toy poodle with red and white fur.She told me she doesnt currently have a male available and told me that one of her dogs is expecting and that I could wait for a male to be born in the next coming litter. She assured me that it would be 2 months for her pregnancy and I would be able to pick up the dog once it was 8 weeks old. I planned accordingly for this time frame in mind, and paid a deposit of $500 through Venmo on June after signing a contract clarifying these preferences.After a month and a half after paying the deposit, I reached out and asked how the mother was doing, she told me she was due to give birth any day now. I asked to see the pregnant mother, and she told me she would send a photo of her whelping - in labor.A few days later she reached out says that it ended up being a false pregnancy. She then offered a golden doodle male and a female from a previous litter. I explained to her that those did not meet my specifications laid out in my contract. The other option was to wait for the next litter, but I am not in a position to wait the time for the mother to be pregnant again, give birth and then wait 2 more months before taking him home. This would be another 6 months or so, and because the last pregnancy didnt work out I did not want to take my chances. I requested my refund on July 22.When I referenced the terms of refund clearly stating that I am within my rights to ask for a refund on my deposit, she said there were no refunds! I explained I was deeply sorry but I was not willing to wait a long time to wait for a potential male nor was I willing to change my preferences on breed or gender. I asked her politely and referenced the contract terms multiple times over a week and she dismissed me entirely. It is now July 30th and she has still not given me my money backBusiness response

I am sorry that the process to obtain an exceptional puppy fom Priscilla's Perfect Puppies has not been an easy one. In the puppy deposit contract there are three dams listed from which you can make an election according to your preferences. Which means that the "Notwithstanding" clause has three litter options to factor through to obtain the puppy of your choice and before you can claim that your preferences were not met. Unfortunately, the first option as we discussed had a false pregnancy over which we have no control. ***** is due to have puppies this Fall with the hope that there will be a male with your color preferences. We will be in touch as soon as they are born.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
Your response is in contradiction to your initial contract. I am seeking a full refund for my deposit as you give the option for refund when the preferences are not met. We are not interested in moving forward with you due to your inability to honor your words and your lack of due diligence.
