I bought a 2015 jeep Patriot from the owner *************************. It had a new inspection sticker on it and less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas so I could only drive it up the road less than a mile before the gas light came on. He rushed me to take it for a test drive before it was warmed up so it skipped a few times but I thought it was because it was still cold. When I mentioned it to ***** when I got back he assured me it was in perfect running order. After opening the hood to inspect the motor it had a plastic guard covering the top of the motor and everything looked clean. I drove it home only to find the steering to have a lot of play in it and evey time I hit a bump the rear would jerk like it was unstable so I made an appointment with my mechanic to have it checked out. He discovered that the motor was leeking antifreeze into the #3 cylinder in the motor so the radiator was low. The rear upper control arms were both bad. The steering control sensor was bad. The head gasket was ready to blow. I called ************************* to tell him I was returning the jeep because it had so many problems. When I took it back to him he refused to give me my money back and told me he would replace the motor with one from a salvage yard that would cost ******* dollars but wanted me to sign a paper stating that I would pay ****** of the ******* to replace the motor. When I refused to sign it he told me he was done and told me to leave. Not a very trustworthy man or company. Extremely rude and dishonest. I would never buy a vehicle from him ever again or suggest anyone else to either.
