I purchased a ******* lantern 17b camper from camping world in Windham Maine in March of 2024. I have multiple issues with the camper including what I deem as a safety issue putting my family at risk as the propane fired hot water heating system will actually pop and there is a small explosion and it blows the fire out so it's not able to work sometimes it will happen on multiple occasions before it will finally light sometimes it will light with no problem but there is an issue there as I have video recordings of it there are also other things wrong with the camper such as the panels on the front of the camper being improperly installed thus for allowing them to separate and be pushed in just by driving less than the speed limit on the highway also the skylights are so tight they won't close properly and therefore trying to close them and rainy weather resulted in them being stripped out to prevent water damage to my camper also there is a cellular shade above the dinette that broke and does not work properly I had to temporarily rig it so it will at least hold the cellular shade up the problem is I have brought the camper down on 3 occasions and they have not been able to fix it I have driven down there which is 2 hour drive only to pick it up two weeks later and having them have done nothing at all they didn't order the parts that they they needed to fix the camper this has happened ever since I bought the camper and today is October 23rd and I have tried on a few different occasions to get these remedied I've contacted their headquarters who instructed me to contact the manufacturer and I got nowhere basically circled back around and told me that I would have to have these items fixed at the location where I purchased it with no luck I am proposing that they cut me a check so I can do the repairs on my own or get them done at a facility closer to my home and a facility that actually has time to take care of the customers before the warranty has run out

The used camper I purchased has been worked on before I bought it and the issues it had are still prevalent today . The issue is a leaking roof that has caused significant damage to the rear wall . There is mold growing in this camper . And camping world is saying it is my fault that this problem exists. It is a manufacturing problem that never was fixed the right way

Bought brand new class A Thor Outlaw 38MB June 2023-$199,995.00 Camping World Uxbridge Mass did not disclose known defects on unit. Unit was severely water/mold damaged. Fought for weeks for refund was then offered collateral swap. July 2023 returned water damaged unit for brand new 2023 Thor Outlaw MB $199,995 Rear end toyhauler pieces were completely cracked away from the main body of unit. AGAIN, no disclosure. We would have taken refund 100% at this point, but we did not know they knew about damage. We were told 6 months later "whistleblower" it was on original delivery paperwork from Thor to Camping World, but did not tell us. The unit we own is the water damaged first unit-title, insurance, bank loan, registration. Now Camping World has a problem- They resold the unit we returned and the paperwork cannot becompleted by new owner because we are still owner of record. They wont take responsibility. They are not reachable, return phone calls, or ever said anything regarding selling us 2 units with major value depreciating damage. We have contacted Maine AG, Mass AG, BBB, ********** of ***** vehicles and my bank as to the level of corruption. We just want to be done with Camping World and Thor all together and the way out is to buy us back.Payoff the erroneous bank loan on the unit you have resold, and take the unit we have back- done! We will happily walk away. No phone calls still to this date. I Rate this company a 0 Thank you Uxbridge Camping World! Thank you Windham Maine Camping World

**** purchased this motor home brand new from, Camping World in Windham Maine in December 2021.  He than drove it to Pennsylvania to store it until this April. When **** was looking at the RV’s on the lot he noticed there was one with a front passenger flat tire.  He test drove the RV and had decided to purchase it.  The transaction took over a week to complete.  Camping World delivered the RV to **** on 12/4 to his home.  **** drove the RV to Pennsylvania, during the trip the tire air gauge for the front passenger tire came on and he had to stop 2 times during the trip to put air in the tire.  **** arrived in Pennsylvania and put the RV in storage until the April 2022.  After 2 weeks the RV front passenger tire was completely flat.  This lead **** to believe they had sold him the RV which was sitting on the lot with the same flat tire.  We have several concerns now that **** is trying to get it ready for the season.   I have listed the concerns below.  After taking an inventory of the issues we decided to take it to our local RV center, Stoltzfus RV in West Chester Pa since he did not plan on traveling back to Maine with the RV.  I discussed all the issues with them and they would not perform any Thor warranty work on it and suggested bringing it back to where we purchased it.   He paid a lot of money for this home to be having so many issues and have not been able to use it.  I really do not feel this RV was looked over to insure everything was in working condition, nor does it seem that it was clear coated because the paint is bubbling on the roof and chipping on the sides of the RV.  For some reason there is a ton of silicone smeared in several of the crevasses.  He paid extra for the clear coat.  This RV was stored once it
came to Pennsylvania in which we can provide the receipt.  The only issue Stoltzfus would replace was providing a new tire at the rate of $275.00.  We were told we could go anywhere and it would be honored but this does not seem to be the case.  **** and I are very upset to the point of wanting to return it because it seems as if we were sold a lemon.  For the cost of this RV we should never have noted so many issues and have not even been able to use it.   We drove the RV back to Windham Maine and explained to them all the issues and insisted they make good on these issues since it was under warranty.  They were horrible to deal with and when we were told the issues were fixed they were not.  Actually when we went to pick it up and Dan walk around the camper with us the generator still did not turn on, and when he turned on the sink water ran down the floor all the way to the drivers seats.   The day I drove the RV back to the house and parked it in the drive way all the steering fluid poured out on my drive way and then had to be towed to a Ford Dealer.  We have gone around and around with this office with no resolution.  I have the print outs from Windham for the supposedly work they completed.  When we placed a call to Thor they suggested we take it to another Camping World.  We called Camping World in Conway New Hampshire and arranged to have them look at it to let us know what the extents of the defects are with the RV.  We have been working with ******* at this office but now are being told they need to take care of their customers before our RV.  I was also told by Joe when I dropped off the RV that they are seeing a lot of these issues because they were slapped together during COVID.   We have paid over $3200 for the registration
and over $3500 for renting a RV for trips we had planned and have not even been able to use the new RV.  We are running into a dead end with anyone wanting to help us.  I have even spoken to the bank and they told us to ask the dealer for a substitution of collateral but Windham Camping World does not want to discuss this.  I asked Camping World in Windham if they would consider a substitution of collateral and they would not.  With the extra warranty, cost of the clear coat, tax and tags this RV cost $150,000, we put $50,000 down.  They stated the decal on the water heater is starting to peel; I am not sure where they got this from because I never mentioned anything about the water heater.   I have listed the following issues:
I was sold the motor home with a slow leak in the front passenger tire.  **** had to stop several times on his way from Maine to Pennsylvania to put air in the tire and once it was stored the tire went flat with in 2 weeks.  We have since been putting air in it until it can be inspected.-We resolved by purchasing a new tire, we were told there was a piece of metal in the tire,
We paid extra for the clear coat, but the paint is bubbling on the roof and chipping on the sides.  There is a ton of silicone around the windows.  Very sloppy workman ship.
The first step when you enter the home is caving in and when we pulled it someone just rigged up some shims and black tape to help support it.
The major concern is the generator, we attempted several times to start it and even called to have you help trouble shot and it still would not start.  This is why I do not feel it was checked and looked over before it was delivered to ****.
The microwave door is sticking, and you have to pry it open
The wall panel does not seem to be working properly
The wall panel in the bedroom near the bureau fell off and had nails on it but it obvious was not secured
The black holding tanks on the driver side in the back side compartment had the black lid off just sitting on the ledge and water is coming out of it. Again, I was told it was winterized
On the same side of the drivers side the wires are just tape with black tape in the middle compartment
The driver side back tire is very close to the frame of the home, I cannot squeeze my pinky finger in between, and it worries me because I don’t want a blow out.  This is not normal; the other side of the RV has a reasonable amount of space.
The watertight wire connectors were not heat shrunk which means water will be getting into it.
When I go to fill up the tank it only will let me fill it up ¾ of the way full, so there must be something wrong with the gas tank sensor.
I cannot run the radio or navigation unless the accessory switch is on.
Who knows what else is not working because without being able to run the generator I cannot test everything.

On April 4,2022 I went in person to Camping World in Windham to have them complete the paperwork for the pro-rated refund for all the extended warranties that I had purchased with the camper.  **** was the employee who completed the paperwork.  He gave me copies and stated he faxed them and it would take 6-8 weeks for the check to come in the mail.  We waited and waited and after June 16 I called the warranty place and they stated the warranty was still active.  I explained I had completed the paperwork and it should have been faxed by Windham Camping World in April.  The warranty place told me if I have the forms with the date when I signed it I could fax it directly to them.  While talking to them I also got the name of the financial representative at Windham.  I was also told it was up to Camping World in Windham to approve and release the check.  I waited again and finally wrote a letter which I have included on July 24, 2023 to the financial supervisor.  I received a response from Ms. ***** which I have attached apologizing.  We finally received the check.
Windham was not willing to work with me to resolve the issues nor did they want to offer a substitution of collateral.  I am requesting for Windham to refund the down payment of $50,000.
      Thank you  **** ******

Bought camper July of 21.****** control bad and ac blowing fuse day one of use august 30 2021. Called camping world. Could not get it in as we were living in it in Maine.October heat started blowing fuses and would not run. Called prowler direct and told them. We couldnt get it in for repair as we were living in it. December we had to winterize and moved out. Kept freezing without any heat. August of 22 we were able to get it out and called for an appointment and they gave us September drop off.For over a year, they have been unable to find to source of the short in the electrical system. They have called us four times to say it was done. First two times they found the fuse blown during a walk through. The last time we arrived and found damage to the camper that was not previously there. We asked them to plug it into a power source. As soon as we tried the ac the fuse blew. It blew in front of them. Now they say there is not problem and the fuse was the problem. And the 15 other fuses that blew? Now they are threatening to charge us $20 a day for holding the broken camper I dont know what I can do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I purchased a brand new 2023 ******** model Thor sanctuary RV from Camping World on 06/21/2023. I have had to return the vehicle because there are issues with electronics functioning at all without the engine running and the propane tank is reading empty despite apparently being full. They have had my vehicle for the past five days they are now saying they need to retain it for 2 to 3 weeks and have offered no compensation or amends. They do not know what the issue is with the electronics and have not offered a timeline on that issue. They have suggested that I pick up the vehicle and drive it unsafely with the propane tank reading improperly. they have another equipment model on the lot and have not made any offer to exchange the units, nor have they offered any compensation or amends. I find the service unacceptable and I find it unacceptable that they would release a brand new vehicle in this condition. I believe I was sold a lemon.

On 1/7/23 we purchased a 2022 26BHSS Forest River Puma Travel Camper. After signing the loan documents we walked the camper with a service advisor. We made a list of items that needed to be repair on the camper. After several weeks they called and said the camper was all set. We got there to notice that there was 1/2" thick of ice inside the camper on the floor. They stated they would look into it and put it into the shop right away. They called and said it was the slider not working properly. After another couple weeks we were told again it was all set. We got there to find things on the list not completed and damage done to the side wall panel. Again they said it would be fixed and we again get a call its all set, we got there to find that again service work was not complete and now there's more damage done to the outside front panel of camper. We've now been back a total of 5 times. After everything was complete we took our camper home to find that the bathroom door does not shut properly and doesn't latch the seal around the top of camper is broken and showing a gap. I've tried to get this resolved with a corporate service specialist and they are unhelpful and do not want to get things fixed. She actual told me to enjoy the camper as it is and bring it back at the end of the season. I am so upset, we put ***** down on a camper that we've had nothing but issues with. We'd like our ***** deposit back and we will take the camper to another service location.

I have been trying since December to have warranty work completed on my RV. I have attached some of the emails that have have been sending along with the countless phone calls. So far I have been ignored and lied to everyone I have dealt with in the service department and even the general manager. The Camping World in Colfax has been no help either. I just want my warranty items addressed and fixed but now I am hesitant to even take my camper in based on this lack of concern and complete disrespect I have received. I wish f I could have ******* river ship the parts to another dealer or maintenance shop to complete the work, but being warranty work I don't know if that is even possible. I have spoken on the phone to *** General Manager, ******************************* manager, ***** service advisor.*************************, and ******* from the Colfax camping world.I have been promised so many call backs it is just a spit in the face at this point. I don't have time constantly call them and remind them to take care of there customer.
