*******************, the owner of EcoArt, built us a firepit in the early summer of 2016. It no longer functioned by the spring of 2020. Bc it was within warranty, we contacted *****. He apologized saying he would take a look at it. Given that the pandemic, we were of course understanding of waiting until it made sense & he had a team available. We waited until Fall to call him again; he apologized again & said he hadn't forgotten about us. Yet he continued to be evasive, blame COVID and by the spring of the following year it remained unusable. We have various voice **************** promising to help but asking for more time. We were getting married in August and begged he fix it beforehand since we were hosting. He sent his employee that ********* have him on video showing us the problem & stating it was 100% their fault and should be fixed (we saw duct tape in there and he said plumber did a lousy job) He did a make-shift repair (fusing a large key that sticks out of the firepit). It's dangerous bc anyone can turn it on. ***** agreed it was dangerous and said he was "fully committed" to correcting the problem & took full responsibility. We have heard nothing but excuses ever since and have not yet used our fire pit. Each week it is the running joke of, 'What is ***** going to say next?'. We can't count the# of texts that say he is "just waiting to hear from the plumber". He says he will call or come over and then doesn't. Doesn't even explain or apologize.We have to constantly chase. He literally told us he stopped by to drop off a part last weekend but when we checked the cameras it proved he was never here. He lied, forgetting we have cameras. We even called the store where he claims to have ordered our part, but they have no record of him. We are frustrated & just want him to do what he promised. We want to warn others not to buy into his ********** "charm", which seems to mask dishonesty and a lack of accountability.
