I have one of their workers on my camera. He came to my house to do a pickup of a groundhog. He released the groundhog back into my yard came back to his truck with an empty trap left his truck with something inside the trap he was carrying that was heavy with a bag over it and placed it back in my yard I went to look after reviewing the video later that evening and I seen that there was an animal in the trap I already called them a few days ago explain to them I sent the video they said they'll call me the next day I have not heard anything back from them and it's been a few days. On top of the lies about their rates in the other suspicious behavior. I suspect that I was right in what was going on. How the traps are set up he caught two non-targeted animals that were just roaming around. So now I am still stuck at having two groundhogs in my yard and a skunk I did not get anywhere and I paid them $400. I asked for a refund.

******* contacted our office asking us to assist her with a wildlife issue.  We sent a technician to her home (320 Spruce St SE), on Sept 18, 2022.  After inspecting the property, the technician informed her she had groundhogs and skunks.  We offered to sell her a pressure plate trap but she refused, stating she had her own trap.  Our technician determined that her trap was not working properly so he attempted to repair it.  He set her trap and left.  We were called back out on Sept 21, 2022 to rebait and reset her trap (the cost should have been $168 for us to come out but the technician did not charge her).  ******* contacted us again on Sept 27, 2022 to say there was an animal in the trap.  We went to the home and picked up a raccoon (the charge should have been $188 but the technician only charged her $89).  He removed her smaller, lighter trap containing a raccoon and replaced it with a heavier duty trap (which weighs more).

******* sent me videos and photos which I have reviewed multiple times. It is my belief that the trap he replaced was empty at the time he set it.  I have been in email contact with ******* several times.  ******* has already received $267 worth of free services.

I contacted this company to assist in what we had presumed to be a wildlife issue/concern. I prepaid for services that were not received back in June. Since then they were back out mid June to reset trap in which I had difficulty reaching them. Since then I have been leaving messages with no call backs. I had the facia repaired by a roofer. I was informed that the cage was without our approval "screwed" into the new roof, the screws penetrated the wood and will undoubtedly create a roof leak. The estimated costs to repair the damages from the trap are estimated at $2,000. I have been unable to reach the company. There's damages from the screws, the prepaid services were not rendered.

When the technician came out on June 1st and met with the home owner, a quote was given and discussed at that time.  It was explained to the homeowner that it takes time to catch wild animals. The technician expalined that the homeowner would need to check the trap daily and let us know when an animal is trapped or if it needed to be rebaited.  When the homeowner called for a rebait, we sent a technician to rebait the trap.  We have been waiting for the animal to be caught or for the homeowner to tell us she is ready for us to finish the agreed upon work.  When a trap is placed on a roof, it must be secured to the roof or it will fall off/blow off.  When the trap is removed, the holes are sealed.  If someone else removes the trap then we cannot gaurantee there will be no leaks.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your rejection of the business's response.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

[You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please type details here:]

Look, I called and left numerous messages without any call backs or responses until filing this. Additionally, I pre-paid for services not rendered. Lastly-the roofer has clear as day explained and I did not authorize for screws to be put into a new roof. Caulking/sealing where those screws went into is not going to resolve this. It needs replaced to be be made whole. The response does not provide any resolutions only commentary. I am asking for the wood and shingles to be replaced. I am asking that I be refunded as the payments made were for services never provided. Let's resolve this as soon as possible without further delays. Thank you.

Hello. We used Platinum Wildlife Removal to remove a raccoon from our attic around 3/25/22. They caught the raccoon and relocated and patched up the roof as the raccoon was in the attic. 1.5 months later the raccoon is back in the attic and the hole in the roof that was supposedly repaired is back. We contacted the company as they have a 5 year warranty as promised on their website. They refused to come out. Finally 2 weeks later we had an appointment on 6/8. The employee came out and did not ring the doorbell nor knock loud enough for us to hear. (This is documented on our ring doorbell). He called and we called back 4 times IMMEDIATELY following the call, he said he was on his way to another job and cannot do ours after 30 seconds of a missed call and 4 call backs. This is all documented on a phone call log as well. We called the company and they are sending him back out but at this point this is ridiculous. The company does not honor their warranty, they did not relocate the raccoon properly as he came right back and the hole in the roof was repaired with a small ****** of tin?!. We paid around $1,100 total for the capture of a raccoon, squire and the repair and they did not do as promised. They refuse to help us now and dont care. PLEASE help.

We performed a single entry seal (repair) when we originally came out to perform work at **************************** in *******, **.  When *************************** called ** out for a reassessment, he was informed over the phone that only the work we performed is covered by the warranty and that if there were any new damages, he would be given a discounted quote to repair the new damages. When we arrived on June 8, 2022 to perform the reassessment, we found that an animal had torn through rotted wood to make a new entry.  At this time, the technician not only quoted for the new repairs but also informed the home owner that they may need a new roof or have some of the wood replaced to prevent other animals from gaining entry.

When we relocate an animal, we take them a minimum of 10 miles away to release them.  The raccoon that ******* states returned is most likely not the same raccoon.
