      I ordered several items from Eden foods, order number ******, on Dec 1st, 2023, and received the order Dec 4th, 2023- one of these items was 1 12 container pack of cherry juice concentrate. Only one container arrived. I contacted the company and was told i could return the item but would be responsible for shipping. I explained that their website indicated 12 jars and only sent me one- they said that was not true and that something must be wrong with my computer- i order lots of stuff on line and do not have problems like that with my computer - It looks to me like this company is shorting people on orders to boost their profits and then allowing a return but making the customer pay shipping. I would like this resolved by the company paying the return shipping on this item since it was their website that was deceiving me into thinking i was buying 12 items and getting only one. This company ought to be accountable for their on line errors not make the customer pay. I would never pay 23 dollars for a very small jar of cherry juice, when i talked to the company they tried to sell me further cherry juice and would not budge on paying for return shipping. I have been scammed and appreciate BBB help in making this right..

          Using the Eden Foods website, Ms. *********** ordered four items on December 1, 2023, including a single jar of Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate. Three of the four items, including the Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate, were shipped from the California Warehouse on December 1. Based on availability, the fourth item was shipped from Michigan on December 1.
         Ms. *********** contacted Customer Service (CS) to ask about what she believed were missing items – the item shipped from Michigan and 11 jars of Tart Cherry juice Concentrate. CS explained to her that based on availably the fourth item was shipped from Michigan. In addition, CS clarified that the customer ordered a single jar of Tart Cherry Juice.
         The customer claimed the website only showed the option to buy a case of the Juice Concentrate for $23.34 (which is incorrect). CS worked with IT to confirm the website was working properly to show two purchase options – the single jar for $23.34 and a case for $260.47. CS communicated this to the customer and provided print screens of the option to buy a jar of juice concentrate vs. a case of the concentrate.
         Ms. *********** demanded a refund, and that Eden Foods pay for the shipping. CS explained that she could return the product for a full refund, and she is responsible for returning the item and any shipping costs incurred. The customer responded that she would contact both her credit card company to refuse the charges and the Better Business Bureau.
          We sincerely hope we have explained this anomaly.

      I am rejecting this response because:  The Eden web site was deceptive in its representation of what I was buying- and showed it was 12 items of the cherry concetrate not one- In light of this - i would want shipping to be covered by this company to return this item. The people at this company have no interest in understanding and appear willfully ignorant  of how deceptive their website is  to customers- and this burden should not be placed on the customer. a reputable company with ethical business practice would use my complaint to fix their website rather than just blame the buyer.

      I will be satisfied if they will pay for shipping and refund the item, anything other than that is unethical and debased business practice.

My day is going fine, thank you, except due to the Fact that my 90 year old mother who is currently suffering from a Prolapsed Bladder, Heart Condition, Low Blood Circulation In Both Of Her Legs, Along with Arthritis In Both Of Her Knees Which Affects Her Mobility had bought two (2) packages of your Eden Foods, Inc. Dried Tart Cherries and unfortunately, Both Packages Were Not Completely Full! I do Not know what happened during the manufacturing, packing and/or transportation process, but apparently my mother received a Bad Batch! In Any Case: I am Not sure where and/or when my mother had purchased your Eden Foods, Inc. Dried Tart Cherries from since she does Not Always Complain Right Away About Things Like This Due to her Current Medical Health Conditions. However, all that she wants is Full Product Replacement for her Inconvenience and Nothing More!       This is in response to the complaint (ID #********) you received on 5/22/2022.  Eden Foods received the same email
      at 11:03 P.M. on 5/22/2022.  Customer Service responded to the customer via a phone call on 5/23/22.  The customer 
      explained that he purchased 2 (4 oz.) packages of Eden Dried Cherries for his mother.  He did not know when or where 
      the packages were purchased.  His complaint was that the packages were not full.  He stated that his mother apparently
      received a bad batch, because something must have happened during the manufacturing, packing, and/or transportation
      process.  Customer Service explained that our 4 oz. snack packages are filled by weight and not volume.  The packages will
      not be completely full.  Each package contains 4 ounces of dried cherries.  We also assured the customer that the dried
      cherries he purchased with a Best Before Date of February 11, 2024, were very fresh.  At this point, the customer responded that the 
      bags had been almost empty and the cherries were mashed.  We apologized for his and his mothers inconvenience and offered
      to mail 2 Eden ******** product replacement coupons to him.  The customer accepted this offer and the two coupons
      have been mailed.  We have not heard back from the customer and hope that he is satisfied with the way we responded to his 
      complaint.  Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
