On Tuesday April 19, 2023 I attended a model meeting at Big Daddy Games and when discussing the details of the event coming up I set my phone down on the top of a booth to charge it and it dropped in a slit behind the booth and when i asked the club to retreive it they said "it would not be tonight" They insisted that i come back in the morning and try and retrieve it. I went back to the booth to see where it could be lifted up and security came and let me know that it was over 5 phones already behind the booth that had never been retrieved and said its nothing they can really do. When I asked to speak to a manager the staff said "a manager, nor the owner would be available to help me get my phone back anytime soon.' It was starting to sink in that they were okay with the fact that people go home without their phone all the time from their. So I went on to talk to security about getting the owners information they gave me a number but when I stepped outside to call no one answered. Then i seen a guy in the parking lot and asked him "what going on he said, he was the owner and that the club is not responsible for my phone and when I asked could I retrieve it he said that he would have to contact a contractor to remove the part of the booth that has my phone which I would have to pay for the services. I am just overwhelmed with their cheap tactics and careless attitude towards the community they are servicing. Most people come in their are influencers and leaders' people who need their phone for daily life. It is unfair to charge someone to retrieve their own property when it would not be lost if their business was properly set up. I just want my phone back as soon as possible and I don't think I should have to pay a dime considering in not the first and will not be the last person who's phone slid behind the booth. I know it a better way to go about this and if they dont fix it soon i want them shut down. They making to much money to be this careless.
