We signed a contract 6/9/21 with Granite Transformation to remodel our master bathroom, install a vanity in our guest bathroom, including changing the sink from beige to grey, and to build new cupboards for our laundry room. G. T. began work on Sept. 7, 2021, but many problems occurred. The workers found rotted wood in the outside wall and left. Our HOA fixed the problem in two days. but *****, the office manager told us that it was a potential black mold problem, which it wasn't. Three weeks later, the men came back to install the cabinets. They found *********, the designer had mismeasured, and the right- side door of the cabinet was hitting the window. **** wouldn't move the cabinets because the stone floor had already been laid. The Barn Door was not wide enough... had to reorder a new one. Installing the new door, one of the workers gauged out the wood above the entry. ***** would not let us speak to *********, we called the owner ***************************, to let him know all the mistakes that were made. He agreed to come out with ********* and ***************, the *********. We were told by **** we should have had a project manager from the beginning. Late Oct. all work should have been completed. We informed them were leaving in late November, but we had to wait for the new door. The workers left our job to work elsewhere. We returned in July 2022, the list of other things needed to be completed. **** said if we noticed any other issues, they would be covered for another year. It should have been in writing, but it was not. After the final clean-up we found spots on the floor which would not come off. We spoke to ******, the new O.M. who said we would be put on a short list to have things fixed. We met ********************* from the BBB and advised us to file a complaint. Today 9/18/22 after spending $36,000+, we are still waiting for our job to be completed. Outcome: fix/polish the floor 2. fill in holes on overhead support board and wall and a written warranty.
