      Absolutely terrible customer service, zero accountability, unauthorized movement of funds and altered transaction dates. Fees charged with no receipt or proof. The surface is thin, a good lawyer would not have to dig very deep before finding enough discrepancies to file some class action lawsuits. Compensation for some of the financial strain and damage this Credit Union has caused its customers. I had a credit score in the 700's when I took an auto loan offer from CUI in 2021, one year later I unknowingly missed my May payment. The June payment came due and busy with do nothing important it was my bad I didn't take two minutes to jump on the app and pay it. At this time I was working with my Mortgage lender on a very large line of equity credit. I absolutely needed for high interest cc debt. I told my mortgage lender I hadnt paid my june car loan and to hold on processing the line of credit until later in the afternoon. When I opened the app to make the car loan payment was surprised to see I missed may. I made one payment, pay day was days out and I would the $408 balance due on that Friday. With only $408 past due 28 days they repossessed my car. $408 28 days past due destroyed my credit. Locking the equity I have on my home and every cc account sending letters of cancelation. $408 28 days past due

      Find a better financial institution. After being a member of Credit Union One for over 20 years, I will be closing all of our accounts. On a Saturday afternoon, my family experienced a tragedy, and we needed to admit three of our pets to a vet hospital. However, I was unable to leave a deposit because the credit union has an arbitrary spending limit and, due to their very limited hours of operation, we couldn't reach anyone by phone to resolve the issue. Our pets were unable to receive treatment because Credit Union One prevented us from accessing our money in our accounts.

      I own outright over a ******* dollar home and went to them for a small ****** ***** (which they advertise that they give 90% LTV. I wasn't even asking for 50%LTV. They came back with stating they will give me ****** because of a bankruptcy filing due to going out on disability from my job back in 2017. They are a joke. Don't let them run your credit as its a waste unless you have a flawless credit report in this day and age. Oh and the guy running the ***** department named **** sounds like his is 20 working out of his Apartment.

      There are so many negative things Id like to say about this company Im just unsure how far back we want to go.Im a member for about 20 years now.They were great when I was new to them and it was my first credit union.Since then its just steadily declined in customer service and even more recently during Covid.Im just going to start from where I began to see it turn .There were unknown charges on my checking account that kept recurring unbeknownst to me. They were 3 small charges for about **** or **** so you wouldnt really notice that. When it was Finally noticed,the credit union representative told meoh yeah weve been seeing this on a lot of peoples accounts , youre like the 3rd one just today but when this happened I was only allowed 3 months of the Several months put back into my account.They had a fraud department looking into it - I had the proof of it happening but they wouldnt allow me to have the ****** placed back into my account .So that was where I noticed they dont care for their customers or customer loyalty.The 2nd major issue was I was turned down for a 6k loan to get a car by the ***** after being a member for 20 years but a different credit union approved me!! 3rd has happened for MONTHS NOW.My debit card pin never works anywhere. I write it down / it doesnt work I call customer Service- they have me reset it - it doesnt work - I call customer Service- they have me reset it/ OR ( this is my favorite one) I take time on my lunch to go into the credit union to get it solved / I am treated poorly - made to PAY to reset my pin and it still has never worked.I recently called at night when I was out of gas in the cold winter and it doesnt swipe as credit there and the ***** just tells me you have to call tomorrow OMG IM OUT OF GAS and you have my money and its 6 degrees outside***rry maam - . I hung up on her and cried. A nice woman saw me and gave me **** and said pay it forward Thank goodness for her.So tonight -after resetting it yet Again 2 days ago- I try it at a self checkout-Declined Chip Card Info Now Im not a tech wizard or anything but my chip is damaged - and not one time has any customer service rep suggested a new card - NOT ONE! So tonight I call after this decline message and speak with same girl I hung up on 3 days ago - and she tells me you need to reset your pin. OMG WHO TRAINS THESE PEOPLE!?I I tell her NO- that isnt the problem so she continues to go back through every event of my card not working due to the chip issue/. When I finally say Im Not sure what youre doing because I need a new card. The chip is damaged ! She then says ok Ill turn your card off so we can send you a new one - omg NO!Im done . I didnt want to have to change all my autopsy all my everything to a new credit union but Im going to Genesis *** long Credit Union One - Ive been loyal to you and given MANY opportunities but youve failed me for the last time.PS I stayed on hold after my call tonight to give my review like I was asked but the call disconnected on YOUR end mysteriously.Things that make you say Hmmmm..,

      Excessive holds on deposited checks. Lots of fees. They will not work with you. Even when you get a letter saying it's their fault that you were charged they will not reverse the charges unless you call five times and go to two branches.
