Been a customer for 10 years, one recent purchase of "high strength 3, silicone mold making kit" was defective. Either it had expired, was made incorrectly, or was a new formula. Product would not cure even 48-hours out, even when made using 50% (by volume) of the hardener (instructions call for 10%). Product would not turn pink like the past purchases, which worked. Emails to the company were ignored completely. Messaging the company on social media got a response, only for them to ghost me for a week. Terrible customer service, no product support. Company obviously does not care at all about their customers. Reviews for the product show I am not alone in ******* into a defective kit.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on March 18th 2023 (order #******) in the amount of $356.37. It shipped on March 20th (Fed Ex tracking number ************) the order was damaged during shipment so Fed Ex returned the damaged product back to Alumilite before is even reached my home. I called Alumilite as soon as I was aware the shipment was late and discovered the order was damaged and returned to the shipper. I spoke to customer service and it was agreed that the order was damaged and I requested a refund for the product. The agent explained he would cancel the order. After a week of waiting for the refund it never happened. I tried calling back several times with no answer. I then went onto the website and logged into my account and sent them a message with detailed information about the order and ask why hasnt the refund been completed. They never responded back. After a few more days I called again and finally got in touch with an agent in customer service and he explained the order had been canceled but it had only been over a week since the request was made and it could take up to two weeks for the refund. It has now been ********************************************************* product received. This is totally unacceptable I believe.Business response

I have reached out to our accounting department to make sure that your refund gets processed today. If there are any issues with getting your return completed I will let you know asap. I am very sorry for the delay and am investigating why this wasn't handled properly to begin with after you had contacted us.
