Bought a 2015 GMC ****** 2500 along with an extended warranty on June 8th, 2023. Was told directly by the financial manager that the warranty would cover everything from the engine to the power windows. I only purchased the warranty because of this information. Have taken the truck in for service a couple times and nothing has been covered by the warranty. I was completely lied to and scammed. ****************** also lies about cost of parts as they told me it was over $600 when it is in fact $300. Dealer refuses to refund or perform the service.

Good afternoon. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this right. We did go over everything that was covered under the service contract that was purchased in the F&I office at the time of sale. We are going to have a member of our management at that location reach out and try to come up with a resolution with the customer.

I brought a 2012 ***** Traverse from Feldman of Highland on 5/6/22. The day after I took ownership of the vehicle it wouldn't start. I tried to give it back they told me I couldn't return it. They tried to make me pay for a tow to get the truck back to them. I refused and told them they needed to figure that out they finally got it towed. About a month later the car goes out again. I call them they tell me there's nothing they can do about it it's my problem. I try again to give the car back they tell me there's nothing they can do. After that the car was in and out of the shop every other month or 2 for something to do with the engine, a oil leak, and the timing chain system. I have been to 3 different shops trying get help figuring out why the car is losing oil. I used my warranty to fix the timing chain system during one of the visits to the shop. Now here we are less than a year later and the engine needs replacing and the warranty company refuses to pay for it and the car dealership ship refuses to except the fact they sold me a lemon, and they will not pay to fix the car or buy the car back. I have been without a car for a month. I have been taking Ubers back and fourth to work and paying people to take me I'm spending over $50 a day for transportation they refused to give me a loner car saying that because the car wasn't at their shop they couldn't do that. To then say oh well we don't even have any loaners available now. The managers will not speak with me everytime I've asked for someone to call me they never do. I talked to one guy once who said he would call me back and I haven't heard from him since that was 2 weeks ago. I was told that I have a strong case to *** however because the car was considered "high mileage" the lawyers I've called won't take the case. I don't have much help beside the 2 friends that do their best to help. I just want them to do what's right all the dealerships I've been to all say they are responsible for making this right.

      Good morning,

I looked into this issue last week and have ********************* and ***************************** involved. The customer has the vehicle at our ******* location and southwest *** will pay $3400.00 towards her repair $9500.00 ************* which customer told ******* she was not picking up her vehicle and was going to let it go back to the bank. I offered to assist the customer with ** contributing $3000.00 and would require her paying $3000.00 which resulted in her being VERY Combative. The customer is aware that is all we can do at this point, after ***** and **** calling Southwest and ******* discounting the repair. Let me know If you need anything further.

      Thanks,

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

I'm rejecting  their solution. I have spent sooooo much money out of pocket for this vehicle with it being in and out of the shop and having to pay people and ubers to get back and forth to work and where I need to go.  That car has been in and out of the shop since day 1. I cannot afford $3000 dollars. I'm still paying for a repair that I had to get done a few months ago. They are fully responsible for fixing that car. They just don't want to except responsibility and admit they are wrong. Their overall customer service is horrible.

      Regards,

      Good Morning,

The customer started the process of purchasing a vehicle from ** and stated he would have a certified check within a few days. After waiting more than two weeks we attempted to assist the customers with financing options which he declined, we let him know we would give him three more days to get us a check. After three days we called the customer and he could not come up with the funds, so we returned his deposit and put the vehicle back on the market. There was no intent to deceive as we offered ample time to allow the customer to secure their own funds. Given the current market and lack of vehicles, we have a duty to offer vehicles to customers that can fulfill the purchasing requirements.

My wife and I leased a Chevrolet Equinox from Feldman Chevrolet in Highland, ********; in May of 2019. Due to the car shortages we decided to buy the lease at the end of the contract. In May of 2022 we went to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. The Residual value on the lease agreement was/is *********. The dealership said the purchase price was *********. When we complained about it the sales representative said he may be able to get them to take off ******. I told him to make it the lease residual value of *********. He came back with *********. I complained again and was told the dealership has to make a little money. Take it or leave it was their position. With only a few days left on the lease we agreed to be cheated. Had I known this was going to happen I would have sought out an honest dealer, if such a thing exists. This type of treatment makes us want to buy a competitive product. This incident makes GM finance and GM Chevrolet look very bad in our eyes. Documentation can be provided for the 2019 lease and the purchase agreement 2022.

      Good Morning,

The customers came Into our Dealership looking for help with buying out their lease, we were very transparent as customer states below with letting them know we charge $1000.00 for processing the transaction, customers negotiated the fee down to $500.00 and signed all the necessary paperwork with the $500.00 fee disclosed on the paperwork which customers signed.

      Thank you,

The service department has been in contact with the customer and addressed all concerns. It is the dealerships understanding that the customer is now satisfied, and the case is closed.

On November 27, 2021 I signed papers to purchase a vehicle from Feldman Chevrolet of Highland, I gave them a **** Chevrolet Silverado and a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu as well as $2000 cash for the purchase of the new truck. However as I tried leaving the dealership the vehicle wouldnt start. My salesman, *******************, said he would get the vehicle fixed at their service department and told me to drive my vehicle home that I signed over to the dealership as a trade in. My wife was informed of this and immediately called the dealership asking why I was not given a loaner vehicle from the dealership instead of driving a vehicle that was now property of the dealership as part of the trade in deal for my new truck. After much deliberation fe *******************, it was finally agreed upon to get me a dealership loner while my truck was being serviced. After 2 months of my truck being serviced by the dealership and the issues still not being resolved I informed the dealership I simply wanted to be financed for a different truck with an additional $1000 from me. They found me a truck to switch the contract and as I was on my way down to pick it up then informed me that someone else was driving the truck I was supposed to pick up and the dealership doesnt even have it. This transaction has been nothing but complicated since day one and the dealership is not attempting to resolve it in a timely manner.
