On Monday, March 28th, I took my 4 kids to Jumpin Jax. I went to the web site. It said admission was $8 per child. The web site had coupons for $2 off admission valid for Monday and Tuesday. The coupon said it needed to be printed to be valid. The coupon had no other restrictions listed. I printed 4 coupons and brought them to the establishment. When I got there and presented the coupons, I was told by the attendant that she needed to call the manager. She got off the phone and told me that I could ONLY USE ONE coupon and it could only be used off the $8 rate. (She pointed to a sign on the counter that said $8 for one hour, $12 for two hours etc.) I don't believe this was their previous policy and no where on their web site does it mention that the $8 rate is per hour. I told her that was not okay because the coupon has none of these restrictions on it. I ended up spending $48 for 2 hours for my four kids when I originally planned on spending $24. I wanted to walk out, but I didn't want to disappoint my kids. I left my phone number for the owner to call me. When I was leaving the attendant told me the owner was there and I could talk to him. I went to speak with him and told him it was not okay to not accept coupons from his own web site and/or add restrictions not listed on the coupons. He said he could because the 2 hour rate was already discounted by $4. He disagreed with me so I walked out. https://jumpinjaxbouncearena.com/coupons/Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
The owner is referring to policies that were listed nowhere on his website or on the coupon. These policies are still not listed on the web site or on the coupon. This is misleading and false advertising. He can not simply give a verbal explanation of the policies and expect it to be okay when the policies are not listed in writing. The coupon had none of the stipulations he was referring to and the admission price on his web site says $8. It does not say PER HOUR.
