I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
I contacted the dealership per your request. I left a detailed message for the dealership manager. I never received a call back from the dealership. I had called previously, at their request, to speak to their sales manager. I left numerous messages. I never received a call back from him either.

On January 21, 2021, I entered into a 36 month vehicle lease agreement with *********************** Mazda of Livonia. I had leased a MAZDA CX-5 CARBON EDIT AWD 2021 vehicle from the dealership. At the point of sale, I was offered a service maintenance plan that would include oil changes and tire rotation and would be rolled into my lease payments. I had accepted this service maintenance plan. The service maintenance plan, according to the agreement acknowledged that it would begin on the effective date shown on purchase date 01/21/21 and would terminate on the expiration date 01/21/24. I had taken advantage of my service maintenance plan several times throughout the duration of my lease agreement so far. On September 16, 2022, I was notified by email that *********************** was bought by LaFontaine **************** which stated that Rest assured, youll still be able to work with the same trusted sales and service professionals youve dealt with from ***********************. I was still able to take advantage of my service maintenance plan and had used it at least once following the merge. On December 15, 2022, I received another email from LaFontaine informing me of upcoming changes regarding my Service Maintenance Plan and in the email it stated we are only able to honor the oil changes and tire rotations on your previously purchased ****** Maintenance Plan through the remainder of 2022. I had called the dealership to see what this had meant going forward. I had spoken with the service manager, ******* that had informed me that the service maintenance plan would no longer be honored following the end of 2022. I was told that when LaFontaine had purchased *********************** the funds for the prepaid maintenance plan was not paid to them so they will no longer honor it for customers. According to Mazda ********* Services, the upfront purchase plan was a 36. month plan with a purchase price of $456 that would be rolled into monthly payments as installments. I am still being charged with no service.Business response

To whom it may concern,
We acquired the *********************** in the summer of 2021. With the acquisition, there was a maintenance plan that *********************** sold to their customers that was specific to ***********************, not the manufacturer Mazda. Therefore, the customers complaint is with the *********************** organization, not with LaFontaine. Please have the customer reach out to *********************.
Thank you,
