I purchased a 2015 Equinox from Tradewind Car Company on 11/2023. The car started overheating so I took the car to an auto body shop that Tradewind uses due to Trandwind being closed. On 12/1/2023 I was informed that the head gaskets were blown and that Tradewind was under an investigation and were closed temporary after they were audited. I was informed that they would be open on 12/6/2023 to answer my questions. I went to Tradewind requesting information on how I can reverse the sale and come out of the loan. The bank ****************** advised that they do not have the title nor does the title company. Tradewind refused to provide any assistance. The car is currently in the shop waiting for the claim to kick in from the warranty. My request is for Tradewind to purchase the vehicle back and refund my $1,000 down payment. I was ripped off and now I am without a vehicle while the company is facing closure. The sale was made less then 30 days ago.

On may 8th 2023 (my 31st birthday I purchased a vehicle from tradewins car company for $11,965.60 in cash as they told me I had to do. The same week I purchased the car the engine light came on. ********* sent me to their shop but it ended up at another shop down the road because they didnt have enough employees. They had my car until June 2nd 2023 trying to diagnose the issue. They replaced a valve solenoid and sent me on my way. On June 6th I went back into tradewins to obtain information on their warrantys since it was never offered. I purchased their warranty on June 6th 2023 in the amount of $2,119.00. On June 12 I had to have my car towed back to trade wins because it was not shifting correctly and was unusually loud, had a light in the back out ($900 to replace) and was starting to shake as I drove it (engine light on again). I called the warranty place to obtain a tow, and they said they couldnt find me in their system inventory as a customer that purchased a warranty. I called Tradewind and they ended up paying for the tow. ***** towing company came out and towed the vehicle back to their shop. Then they moved it to *************** again (shop down the road from tradewins). They tried to diagnose it again, and said they couldnt figured out the issue. They had me come get the vehicle. The vehicle sat at my home until august. I tried to get in touch with tradewins since then with no reply by phone. I went there twice and they were closed down. I purchased this vehicle because I had twin boys and my family size couldnt physically fit in the other vehicle, not to mention is not safe. I used my disability back pay to obtain a safe vehicle. Its been in the shop 4 more times since august. There is no resolution, and they will not get back in touch with me. I just want my money back to obtain a vehicle that is safe for my children and i, not to mention big enough. There is more to this but Im running out of space. Please help me obtain my funds back.

I bought a car on September 13th 2023 for $14,000, the day after I bought it it was in the shop. And once a week since I bought it (about 4 times) its been in their service center and they told me all 4 times it was spark plugs and coils. I picked it up from the shop on the 14th of October and they said it was completely safe to take on my trip to flordia. On October 17th in ******, ** the engine seized up and needs a new one. The quoted price for an engine in flordia was $13,000 so I asked the dealership to ship the car back to ********, and after fighting tooth and nail they did. Once in ******** they found a used engine for $6,000 but the warranty will only cover $1,500. Which it said in the paperwork that $1500 is the *** it will pay for anything but obviously this car has been broken for awhile. I think what is happening to me should not be allowed to happen and I dont know what to do.
