On May 1st I was billed my final month's rent at the Lakes. The end of my lease is May 27th. I was billed my full month's rent of $1,100. I tried calling the office, which no one answered. No one has answered the phone in the office in my 15 month lease here. I emailed the property manager, leasing staff, and the customer care email of my dilemma on the 1st. No one responded, so I called 3 separate times the 2nd to no answer. I forwarded the email again saying I hadn't received a response. I received a response after from the property manager saying that the prorate would be adjusted however I had to pay it in the office. Today I stopped in the office to which a leasing agent said I owed the full amount but was unsure how to explain that I did. I asked for an explanation and was told someone would call me later in the day. I did not recieve a call hours later so I tried calling the office. No one picked up.I truly just want to pay the prorated amount of rent that I owe. However ***************** has made this impossible between "ghosting" me and being unable to give me any response to a resolution. I just want this to be solved before they begin to hit me with "late" fees due to their negligence and laziness. I also what them to pay me back my security deposit swiftly after moving out since I've read ****** reviews of other tenants not receiving them month's after moving out.
